Restringing your racquet,
⠀
❓All my students are asking me when should I restring my racquet and should I in general?
⠀
⚠️Yes, even if you didn’t break it, you should restring it after 2 months (even if you didn’t play).
The strings are loosing tension, not much but loosing.
⠀
❓What strings
⠀
📍There are a lot different kinds of strings
I’ll split them for a few categories:
⠀
🎾For big hitters
🎾For topspin
🎾For tennis elbow
⠀
👍🏻Next time when you choose your strings just let the Pro know what kind of player you are and he will show you different string, then you choose just by price and color.
⠀
❓What tension
⠀
⚠️First of all you have to check you racquet techs, min and max range of tension.
⠀
⤵️Low tension is going to make your strokes harder, but less control, ball just gonna bounce stronger.
⠀
⤴️High tension will give you more control, but less power.
⠀
💭 If you have tennis elbow you better get soft tension
⠀
💭 If you have over size head racquet you can get hard tension, big head is giving you power and hard tension will give you more control
⠀
💭 If you have small head of your racquet you can make lower tension for getting a bit more power
