What do you think it going on here? Is this Crab love? Is it an abduction? It could be protection or it could be kidnapping! Willing or unwilling..... Sometimes we see things and have no idea what the rules are but either way we leave them be and let nature take its course.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to our dive family!
A Dominica Christmas..........

A giant stride into a hundred foot vis
A float in the blue over our famous abyss
Pinnacles, walls and Champagne bubbles
And day of diving to forget your troubles

A bright blue sky over sunlit coral
Caribbean Fruit cake with a glass of sorrel
Turtles, stingrays, frogfish and seahorses
A sumptuous meal lasting many long courses

Family and friends to regale with tales
Of an island of waterfalls, parrots and whales
A friendly people ready to smile
Say proudly “Welcome to the Nature Isle!”

A few years ago I would have told you this snorkeler is floating over some very old coral heads. Now I know she if floating over 1000 year old plus Orbicella Annularis. Such a magical place we dive.
