Hello family!!⛹️♀️⛹️♂️
This video shows the transformation in Mikkel's Free Throw.
From our Academy, we think that in professional players, no big changes should be made in shooting routines or mechanics. You have to look at the small details that make the shots inconsistent, and try to improve the scoring percentages.
What does this mean? 🤔
It means that NOBODY can promise you that by changing the way you shoot, you will score 100%. The fault is part of the game, and in addition, this shot must be adapted to training in real match situations.
Is it good to be a good shooter in shooting exercises in training if you miss them when you have opposition? Of course, not.
The difference that you can see in this video, comes from the initial Catch and the use of the fingers in shooting. In the before, the catch is hard, too tense. That caused the fingers not to work well, and all the effort of rotation of the ball comes from the wrist. In the after, Mikkel catches the ball much more smoothly, moving the catch of the ball to his fingertips for the shot.
The coordination of the gesture in the after (look where the left hand ends in the before, and where it ends in the after) makes Mikkel dominate his shot, and not that the shot dominates him.
We are advancing...🔜🔝
