Five years ago today, Bear came into our lives. ❤️

From the very beginning, Teddy took him under his wing, showing him the ropes and becoming the best big brother. Then, when Kaos joined our family, Bear stepped into that same role, welcoming him just as Teddy had welcomed him.

These three keep us on our toes every single day. Life is never quiet, but it’s always full of laughter, adventure, and unconditional love.

We wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

Kaos is 3 today.

I can’t believe how fast time has gone by, but you enjoy every second! As do we!
You live life to the max and at 100 kilometres per hour. 🤣

It’s amazing how you adjust your play with Teddy & Bear. With Bear, it’s bitey facey and wrestling, with Teddy, you get up to Beagle mischief 🫣🐾.
You were just born to run and that is your happiest place.
Kaos, you are an absolute dream dog and look forward to our future adventures together 😍🐾

❄️🐕 Kulde, ældre hunde og gigt - en dårlig kombination 🐕❄️

Hos ældre hunde og hunde med gigt eller andre ledlidelser kan vinterkulde gøre mere end bare at føles ubehagelig. Kulde og fugt øger muskelspænding, nedsætter blodgennemstrømningen og kan forværre stivhed, smerter og nedsat bevægelighed 🥶🐕

Mange ejere tolker ændringerne som “alderdom”, men ofte er det kuldeudløst smerte.

⚠️ Warning: Some images may be disturbing.

Just before Christmas I had an accident at work — nobody’s fault, just one of those things.

A piece of metal hit my finger at speed, resulting in a dislocation and a broken/smashed bone. I ended up needing 10 stitches and dealing with a lot of pain. There were even talks of amputation, which honestly made me feel sick at the time.

Since then it’s been lots of aftercare and regular hospital appointments to make sure everything was healing as it should.

My biggest disappointment (and I know this is me being selfish) was not being able to run over the Christmas period with the boys 🐾🐾🐾. There are obviously far bigger problems in the world, but it still hit hard.

My finger isn’t perfect, but it’s still attached — and for that I’m grateful. Now it’s time to focus on recovery and try to get my running back.

Onwards and upwards 💪.
