🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a season for Tårnby 1! 💙🏏

We finish the season as winners of 4th Division Øst and T20 Series 5. Two trophies, a lot of hard work, and a season we can all be proud of.

But this is only one step.

There is still a long road ahead to the bigger leagues, and we know the level, the work and the commitment will only have to increase from here.

No shortcuts. No big talk. Just hard work, togetherness and the hunger to keep improving.

A massive thank you to all the players and everyone who has supported us throughout the season. Your support, whether from the sidelines or behind the scenes, means a lot to the team. ❤️

🏏 Tårnby U13 – First Win of the Season! 💙🔥

Last week, Tårnby U13 played their second match of the season — and delivered a fantastic all-round team performance to secure their first victory against Glostrup U13B.

Final scores:
🏏 Tårnby U13: 74/6 (15 overs)
🏏 Glostrup U13B: 66/5 (15 overs)

It was a close and exciting match, but our young players showed great determination, teamwork, and fighting spirit to come out on top.

👏 A huge well done to all players for their effort on the field — this win is a result of hard work and a strong team mindset.

This is just the beginning for this talented group of youngsters, and there is plenty more to come in the season ahead. 💪

💙 At Tårnby Cricket Club, we are very proud of our youth setup. The focus continues to be on developing our U13 players, strengthening our academy, and working towards better facilities and a permanent home ground — so even more children can discover and enjoy cricket.

A strong team performance as Tårnby 1 secured a 3-wicket win over Nørrebro 2 in the T30 League.

Nørrebro 2 were restricted to 157/9 in 30 overs, thanks to a disciplined bowling and fielding effort.

🏏 133-RUN WIN! Tårnby 1 Stays Unstoppable 🔴⚪️
Tårnby 1 🆚 Himalaya 2 🎖️

A massive team performance today to secure our second win in the 30-over campaign! We posted a huge 230/5 and clinical bowling saw us wrap up the game in just 17 overs.

Highlights of the day:

💯 Hanzla B: A superstar masterclass, smashing 107 off 61 balls!

👏 Obaid Ur R: A brilliant 55 on his return to set the platform.

🌪️ Radhey K: 3 wickets for 12 runs to keep the pressure on.

🔥 Muteen H: A clinical spell, picking up 2 wickets to help wrap up the innings.

Team Spirit:
Huge thanks to Bilal for being a wall behind the stumps and Adil for his relentless energy in the field. A special shoutout to Waqar for stepping in to support the team when we needed it most— that’s the Tårnby heart! ❤️

A clinical 30-over season opener!

We dominated in all three departments, posting a massive 303/4 and defending it with high energy and fun.

The Batting Blitz:
• Hanzla: 83 (47) – A superstar performance that had the opposition applauding! 🌟

• Adil: 68* (52) – Our "Superman"continues his incredible form. ⚓

• Obaid & Billal A: Provided the experience and classy timing to set the platform. 🚀

• Sarthak & Momin: Late fireworks to take us past the 300 mark.

The Bowling Shift:
Momin brought the heat with early wickets, while Abhishek, Muteen, and Bilal "Warnie" (plus a magic catch!) controlled the game.
Huge credit to Amit for sharp work behind the stumps.

🏏 DOMINANT WIN! Tårnby 1 beats Glostrup 3 by 76 runs in the 2026 T20 - Serie 5 OST League.

A professional performance from start to finish. After an early setback, the middle order stood tall, and what a finish from Hanzla Butt – an unreal, dominant hundred that everyone enjoyed watching.

Adil Mehmood continued his golden run with a rock-solid 40, while the bowling attack shared the wickets beautifully. Sahel Asghullah (2 wickets) brought serious energy – “Too fast too furious” indeed. Hasan Javed and Ali Khurram Khan (2 each) controlled the middle overs with class.

🏆 4 wins down. 11 to go.
We keep building. We keep the momentum. On to the next one.

🏏 Three wins from three — a 42-run victory over Frem 2.

We put up 212 and defended it well as a unit. After an early setback, Adil (35 off 30) and Hanzla set the tone with composed batting before Hanzla's brilliant 90 off 53 and Momin's 57 off 26 built the total. Credit to the whole batting lineup.

With the ball, Hamza (2/14), Musa (2 wickets after a tough start), and six others shared the load — eight bowlers contributing to restrict Frem to 170/9. That kind of depth is something we're proud of.

We also want to acknowledge Sohail, who suffered a serious Achilles injury in his first season back after five years. He's a valued part of this group and we're all behind him. A thank you to Waqar for stepping up without hesitation.
We know there are areas to improve, fielding in particular. We'll keep working.
