Nice Trip with a great boat from Kiel via Anholt, Skagen to Norway, Kragerø
and back to Kiel. During the Trip we checked the Bladder Tank a diver found our water diving mobile at 15m and did a sail repair while optimising apparent wind sailing.

A little late but not forgotten…


Last weekend we participated at the Peter Gast Schiffahrtsregatta – what an event!



Conditions on race day could not have been better (at least until the wind dropped). A short upwind start followed by a long reach leg, was just what we needed to speed up with our Code-0. Following these champagne sailing conditions the course challenged us with an up- and downwind leg near the coast line. On the approach to the next mark the wind dropped completely, giving our hardest rival “illbruck” the chance to catch up more and more until we finally decided head towards the island of Ærø for some fresher breeze. Luckily this paid off and we managed to reach the next mark as first, just seconds after it was changed to the finish line.



Arriving in the harbor of Ærøskøbing chill mode was on with great conversation and good drinks with our friends from Besiktas Group and BMW Hamburg and many other regatta participants. After our “warm-up”, we left the boat for the traditional walk through the town of Ærøskøbing before we headed to the prize giving ceremony and party location. Besides the prize for the first ship home, the prize giving pleasantly surprised us with a first place in our group as well as ORC overall.
