RACE REPORT Intense Battles at Gelleråsen! 🏁🏆
Round 2 for our Ginetta G40 drivers is officially in the books! A weekend packed with razor thin margins, countless overtakes, and wheel to wheel drama. We leave Karlskoga with silverware in hand and proof of our incredible team pace!
Tim Smashes the Track Record! Tim showed absolute mega speed on Saturday, locking down a double pole and clocking the fastest lap time ever recorded for the Ginetta class at Gelleråsen Arena! Hard fought battles saw him just miss the podium in the opening heats, and a tough electrical issue shut the car down in the finale unfortunately!
First Career Podium for Victor, What an official debut! Victor locked in a great feeling early on and qualified P5. After gathering valuable experience in the opening heats, he launched a serious charge at the very front in the finale, rewarding himself with a brilliant 3rd place his first ever podium in the series!🏆
Lukas Puts on a Show Lukas found his rhythm early and put on a masterclass in overtaking throughout the weekend. Despite contact in Race 2 that sent him spinning into the grass, he launched a relentless full attack charge to claw his way back through the field promising step for next round! 👊🏼
Strong Pace & Tough Luck for Coffe, he did a good qualifying with double P1 in the AM class. He fought back to P3 in Race 1 and secured a strong 2nd place in Race 2. Unfortunately, the finale turned chaotic Coffe was hit and sent into the Armco barrier. He bravely brought the damaged car home, on P3 in AM but got an time penalty that puts him down to P4.
Thomas Unlocks the Speed step by step this weekend was all about continuous progression for Thomas. He found more speed session by session, building great confidence with the car and the new Pirelli tires while enjoying some fantastic on track battles.
Looking Ahead We are incredibly proud of the entire team. We will regroup, prep the cars, and come back even stronger to fight for the top step of the podium! Huge thanks to our drivers, mechanics, and partners! 🙌
