GT WORLD REACHES NEW HEIGHTS WITH 9.7 MILLION LIVE VIEWS OF THE SEASON FINALE IN PORTIMÃO! 🔥📺

We can’t get over how incredible the season finale at Portimão was! 🇵🇹❤️

Frederik Schandorff, Malte Ebdrup and Simon Birch have delivered an outstanding debut season. With a Gold Cup victory and a fourth-place overall finish in the final race and second place in the overall Gold Cup championship, Selected Car Racing wrapped up the season on a high. 🏆

Beyond the results on track, GT World Challenge Europe closed out the 2026 season with record-breaking exposure: 9.7 million views of the finale’s YouTube livestream and 28,000 spectators at the circuit. The race was also broadcast on other platforms, including Viaplay, reaching an even wider audience.

These numbers highlight the championship’s impressive international reach and the growing global interest in GT racing. It’s a world-class platform that delivers exposure far beyond the racetrack, creating value for teams, drivers and partners alike.

We’re proud to be part of such a strong and professional championship, and even prouder of what we’ve achieved together in our debut season.

MONZA, HERE WE GO! 🇮🇹🍕🍝🤌🏼

The team has arrived at the iconic Temple of Speed, and preparations are well underway!

Yesterday brought three practice sessions with a little extra rain to spice things up. 🌧️ A great opportunity to find speed, build confidence and prepare for what lies ahead.

Today, we’re back on track with a full schedule:

Selected Car Racing wins the GT World Challenge Europe Gold Cup season finale! 🏆🇩🇰

Three intense hours later, Frederik Schandorff, Simon Birch and Malte Ebdrup celebrated on the podium, closing out our incredible debut season with a Gold Cup race victory at Portimão and P4 overall among 61 teams! 🔥

Meanwhile, our outstanding team at AF Corse secured the Gold Cup Teams’ Championship. A huge achievement that reflects their incredible dedication and hard work throughout the season!

While we won the final Gold Cup race, we narrowly missed out on the overall Gold Cup Drivers’ Championship. Nevertheless, we’re heading home with a season-finale victory, a season packed with strong performances, and so much to be proud of. We’ve proven that we can go toe-to-toe with some of the best GT drivers in the world, and we couldn’t be prouder! 💪🏼

What a debut season! Now it’s time to celebrate the race win, take it all in, and enjoy everything we’ve achieved together. 🏁❤️

30 minutes to go until the GTWC Gold Cup championship is decided...🏆🔥

Simon Birch kicked things off with an impressive opening stint, followed by a strong run from Malte Ebdrup. Now it’s all down to Frederik Schandorff to bring our Danish Ferrari #71 home and finish the fight. 🇩🇰🏎️

Currently P5 overall. P1 in Gold Cup. The title-fight is still wide open.

30 minutes. One final push. Let’s go, Freddie! 👊🏼
