Blue Hors has today announced that the collaboration with Head Rider Nanna Merrald will come to an end.

The decision has been made in connection with the continued integration of Stutteri Ask and Blue Hors, and with great respect and appreciation for Nanna’s many years of dedication and contribution to Blue Hors.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 🤍

After six fantastic years, it is time for us to say thank you and goodbye to Sophia as she moves on to a new chapter.

Sophia joined the Blue Hors Talent Program in 2020 and began riding Blue Hors Quintana. After finishing school, she became a full-time rider for Blue Hors in 2022 and developed into one of Denmark’s leading young dressage riders. We are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved along the way.

Some highlights from Sophia’s time at Blue Hors include:
• Multiple Danish National Championship titles in both Young Riders and U25
• Several European Championship appearances with team and individual medals as a Junior, Young Rider, and U25 rider
• Individual European Championship gold in 2024 with Quintana, whom she has ridden since he was 6 years old
• International placings and great results at Young Horse Championship with many different Blue Hors horses
• Her international senior debut at just 21 years old, scoring over 70%

Sophia has been an important part of daily life at Blue Hors throughout these years, showing immense dedication to both the horses and the sport. We are so grateful for all the memories, successes, and moments we have shared together, and we wish Sophia all the very best for the future. 💙

Vi søger en engageret og stabil staldmedarbejder til dressurafdelingen hos Blue Hors – en af Danmarks førende dressurstalde.

Dine daglige opgaver vil bl.a. omfatte almindeligt staldarbejde såsom mugning, fodring, ind- og udlukning af heste samt generel pasning. Derudover vil du også hjælpe til ved arrangementer og sikre, at stalden og omgivelserne fremstår pæne og velholdte. Erfaring er en fordel, men ikke et krav, vi lægger størst vægt på, at du er ansvarsbevidst, arbejdsom, fleksibel og har en ægte passion for heste og deres trivsel.

Vi tilbyder en fuldtidsstilling (37 timer), gode arbejdsforhold, bolig på stedet, samt løn efter kvalifikationer – alt sammen i et professionelt miljø med fokus på hestevelfærd og teamwork.

While Nanna is expecting, Allan Grøn is taking over the ride on Viva Vegas to continue his training and education. The last few months Allan has been getting to know Viva Vegas and he will take him to some shows including the stallion show in Herning and our Open House. After her maternity leave, Nanna will take over the reins again. Viva Vegas stays at Blue Hors, with Allan riding him both here and at his own place, just 30 minutes away.

This breeding season Viva Vegas will be available to breeders with fresh semen in Denmark.🙌🏼
