🏏 *Fredensborg 1 Promoted to Serie 3!*
Fredensborg 1 secured promotion to Serie 3 after winning a high-stakes, virtual qualification match against fellow table-toppers Taastrup.
*1st Innings: Bowling & Restricting the Opposition*
Taastrup won the toss and elected to bat first. Their openers got off to a flying start with some impressive hitting, but Fredensborg’s bowlers responded sharply by picking up wickets at regular intervals—preventing Taastrup from setting a runaway total.
* Vinay Arunkumar was the key disruptor in the middle order, picking up 3 crucial wickets. Though a touch expensive, his spell rocked Taastrup's momentum right when they looked to accelerate.
* Revant Ashwin Shankar, and Hamza Kazmi provided vital support, taking 1 wicket each to keep the squeeze on the opposition.
* Target Set: Fredensborg restricted Taastrup to 179.
*2nd Innings: A Masterclass in Power Hitting*
The run chase began in explosive fashion. Openers Ashwin and Gargi launched an absolute assault from ball one, smashing 50 runs off the first 3 overs to put Fredensborg firmly in control.
* Ashwin set the early tone with a fiery 36 before falling to an unlucky dismissal.
* Gargi carried on his phenomenal form, tearing into the bowling attack to score a brilliant 87.
It was a display of pure, brutal force—sixes were clearing the boundaries with ease, sending balls deep out of the ground and leaving Taastrup with no answers.
*Dhruv - made a polished 42 of 30 balls with 6 boundaries and a six, stitching a match winning partnership with Garghi Seenevas

Fredensborg CC wrapped up the chase with immense authority, reaching the target with nearly 5 overs to spare.
