Argentina. The mighty Paraná River. And the incredible Golden Dorado — a fish with explosive power that you have to experience to believe! 💥🎣

Chasing these powerful predators took me all the way to Esquina and the wonderful people at Río Lodge. From the warm welcome to the amazing food, outstanding service and exceptional fishing, this place delivered an experience I’ll never forget. 🙌❤️

My incredibly talented guide, Nata, gave it absolutely everything to find my dream fish. His dedication, knowledge and passion made every moment on the water something special. And when that savage strike finally came… WHAT A FEELING! 🤯🔥

Back home in Denmark… but my mind is still somewhere on the Paraná River. 🇩🇰🇦🇷🔥

I’ve just returned from an absolutely unreal fishing adventure in Argentina, chasing a fish that has been near the top of my bucket list for years: the mighty GOLDEN DORADO! 💛🎣

After days of travelling, I finally reached the wild waters of Corrientes and the wonderful people at Rio Lodge. Matias Pavoni and co-owner F***y welcomed me with open arms and teamed me up with their incredible guide, Nata. They put their hearts into making this dream happen—and gave me two fishing days I will NEVER forget. 🙌

Exploring the vast delta and river system of the Paraná was an adventure in itself. But hooking into these powerful golden predators? That was something else entirely. Explosive strikes, wild jumps and a strength you have to feel to truly understand. One of the world’s strongest freshwater fish—and every second of the fight makes you believe it! 💥

I’m still speechless. Still buzzing. Still trying to take in everything I experienced. A dream I’d carried for so long is now a memory I’ll carry forever. 💛

MY THIRD DREAM DORADO POST… BUT THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGAN! 💛🔥🇦🇷

This golden beauty was my FIRST EVER golden dorado. The fish that showed me what all the hype was about—and why nothing could have prepared me for that POWER! 🎣💥

I had travelled to Argentina dreaming of these fish. Suddenly, I was holding one in my hands, staring at those incredible golden scales with the biggest smile on my face.

I’d actually done it. My first golden dorado. A moment I’ll never forget. 🙌❤️

After years of chasing predators back home, meeting this South American powerhouse was something special. My arms had finally discovered what my imagination had been getting so excited about! 😂🔥

Looking back through the photos, this one means so much to me. Before the other dream fish came along, THIS was the dorado that started it all.

ANOTHER GOLDEN DREAM! 👑💛🔥

As if this trip hadn’t already blown my mind… here’s ANOTHER trophy golden dorado from my adventure in Argentina!

Looking at this fish, I still struggle to believe it actually happened. That gold. Those jaws. The sheer power of these incredible fish. And the ridiculous smile I apparently can’t switch off! 😂🙌

I left Denmark dreaming of catching a trophy dorado. Coming home with memories of several beautiful trophies? That’s beyond anything I dared to hope for.

The anticipation before every cast. The brutal hits. The screaming reel. Knowing that somewhere beneath that water swims a fish capable of turning your whole world upside down in seconds.

This is why I fish. These moments stay with you forever. ❤️🎣

Another huge thank you to Nata and everyone at Rio Lodge in Esquina. Matías, F***y and the family—you made this Danish angler feel at home on the other side of the world. 🇦🇷🇩🇰

I FU***NG DID IT! 🔥💛

Mission accomplished. The fish I dreamed about before leaving Denmark… is now a memory I’ll carry for the rest of my life❤️

After more than 24 hours of travelling, I reached Esquina in Argentina’s Corrientes province and Rio Lodge—a place with so much heart. Matías Pavoni, F***y and their children made me feel part of the family. Down to earth, warm welcoming people who made this adventure even more special. ❤️

On the water, my incredible guide Nata worked tirelessly to find the trophy golden dorado I had come for.

And then… we saw it.

Baitfish scattering. Explosions on the surface. A huge dorado hunting in surroundings that felt straight out of the Amazon. “JEREMY WADE” style 💪

I cast my deep-diving lure across the spot.

Then came the hit.

An absolutely brutal strike. The rod loaded up, the reel started SCREAMING, and this golden powerhouse launched itself clear of the water. Again. And again. My heart was trying to jump out of my chest.

THIS was the fish I had travelled all that way for. This exact moment. Everything I had hoped for, suddenly happening right in front of me.

A breathtaking golden dorado weighing between 9- 10 kilos. My South American dream fish.

THE KING OF THE RIVER. 👑💛

I wasn’t planning to reveal this fish just yet… but honestly, I couldn’t keep it to myself. I keep looking at these photos a thousand times a day, trying to take it all in.

Effektlageret ApS Predator Cup 2026 er i bøgerne! 🎣🔥

Team 85 – Thor Power Box/Savage Gear kæmpede bravt hele weekenden til årets PredatorCup arrangeret af Effektlageret.dk 💪

Dag 1 startede stærkt med nogle rigtig fine aborrer. Den her på billedet blev teamets største på dagen: 40 dejlige centimeter! 🙌 Vi fandt et område med store, jagende aborrer, og var vi blevet der, havde vi måske kunnet opgradere flere gange.

Men “papiret” skulle fyldes med både de 3 længste aborrer og de 3 længste gedder, så vi måtte videre. Aborrerne endte på 40, 36 og 31 cm, mens gedderne virkelig gav os kamp til stregen 😳 Efter fem timers jagt fik vi kun én på papiret – en gedde på 73 cm.

Dag 2 på Skanderborg Sø gik heldigvis langt mere efter planen! 💪 Vi fandt hurtigt gedderne, og min makker Mikkel Troelsen landede en superflot fisk på 86 cm – vores største gedde den dag. Et par mindre gedder sikrede et fyldt geddepapir ✅

Derefter gik den hårde jagt på aborrerne ind. Blandt de mange små fandt vi heldigvis en håndfuld bedre fisk og fik fyldt papiret med 30, 29 og 29 cm 🐟

To ekstra gedder på omkring 80 cm på førstedagen kunne have sendt os helt op på en 5. plads. Sådan gik det ikke, men vi kæmpede os op på en 13. plads ud af knap 100 både! 🙌 Et resultat, vi er tilfredse med efter en hård første dag, hvor gedderne absolut ikke ville lege med.

Næste år vender vi tilbage med en endnu stærkere og mere træfsikker plan! 🔥

And this year, we came to fight. 💪🎣

7 days of fishing.
4 days of practice.
3 days of hardcore competition.
Thousands of casts.
And absolutely NOTHING left in the tank.

In this Reel, you’ll see how we fought right until the final whistle at Predator Tour Sweden 2026.

But if there’s one thing that makes me incredibly proud, it’s watching my super-talented girlfriend completely OUTFISH the entire team! 😂🔥

Yes, Predator Tour is a team competition… but the fish she managed to put in the boat during those seven days were nothing short of incredible:

Our new teammate Christoffer also found some absolute beauties during practice, including fish of 108 cm and 98 cm. 💪

🇸🇪🎣 DAG 1 – PREDATOR TOUR SWEDEN ER I BØGERNE! 🎣🇸🇪

Første dag til årets Predator Tour i Sverige er overstået – og hold nu kæft, hvor har vi kæmpet! 💪🔥

Vi har kæmpet, til blodet nærmest stod ud af fingrene, og da dagen sluttede, var vi fuldstændig kørt over. Der er blevet lagt et helt ufatteligt antal kast ud over den store, rå Vänern – Sveriges største sø og en af Europas 3 største søer. 🌊🇸🇪

Vi blev ved. Kast efter kast. Kæmpede bravt derude i dag 🎣

Desværre lykkedes det os kun at finde én rigtig god fisk i dag – men til gengæld gik den til min utrolig dygtige kæreste ❤️💪

Hun leverede, da det gjaldt, og kunne lande en superstærk og vanvittigt smuk Vänern-gedde på 101,9 cm! 🐊🔥

Ikke den dag vi havde håbet på resultatmæssigt – men sådan er konkurrencefiskeri. I morgen starter vi på ny, og vi er LANGT fra færdige! 👊
