ICEHORSE FESTIVAL is the world’s first indoor WRL-event for Icelandic horses. It’s all happening in Herning, Denmark, each spring

The goal is to create the biggest and most enjoyable celebration of the Icelandic horse and a competition of World Ranking List status on a FEIF approved 250-meter oval track - indoors! Riders from around the world are invited, and there is room for 3,000 spectators in the Equsana Arena in Hall M, MCH Exhibition Centre Herning. An exhibition area of approximately 3,000-m2 will offer the latest in equipment for the Icelandic horse. The festival is packed with exciting activities, such as lectures and clinics as well as Danish Icelandic Horse Association’s 50th anniversary, which kicks off at the festival. First of all ICEHORSE FESTIVAL is an international FEIF World Ranking List-competition on an indoor 250 meter oval track, with sport-B Thursday and Friday, and on the weekend the international top riders will compete in the sport-A disciplines. Furthermore, there will be a range of educational “drop-in lectures” DI-Talks and clinics with skilled, international horse experts. In the weekend, great stallions will give you an unforgettable show in the arena and exciting breeding farms will be showing their best horses in the breeding show. Finally yet importantly, ICEHORSE FESTIVAL offers a 3,000-m2 exhibition area where exhibitors offer a wide range of special offers and all the latest in equestrian sport. Where did the time go - four days of great fun are already behind us! 🎉

We have seen a lot of new talents on the track in Herning, gotten inspired by all the talks and clinics and shopped the newest merch ✨

Next year Icehorse Festival will take a break, but don’t despair, we will be back the year after. 💪🏼

We finished this weekend off with the A-finals of Brogaarden T1 and we can say a huge congratulations to Rasmus and Röskur for winning the class! 🏆

What a way to finish the five-gait at this year’s Icehorse Festival 🔥
The Equsana F1 final delivered everything we could hope for: speed, power, and an electric atmosphere, with the audience holding their breath until the very last moment.
