GU13 top ranked at Danish Junior Open 2026
The GU13 category this year is packed with exciting talent, with four players ranked inside Europe’s top 13 – including number 3, 5, 6 and 13 💥
Leading the draw is top seed Matylda Sokół from Poland, who comes in with fantastic form and confidence. She claimed the title at the Austrian Junior Open, where she also defeated the number 2 seed, Leonie Niefer, in a thrilling three-game battle. A well-deserved champion and the one to beat this week!
Right behind her is number 2 seed Leonie Niefer from Germany. She pushed the top seed all the way in Austria in a very close three-game match, showing her fighting spirit and top-class level. She’ll be hungry to go one step further this time.
The number 3 seed is My Berdin, a local Danish player from the hosting club, and the home crowd will be right behind her all week 🇩🇰 Playing on home soil always brings extra motivation, and with her strong ranking and potential, she could be one to watch closely.
