Skal du med ud og sejle kapsejlads sammen med dine kollegaer? ⛵️

I lærer at sejle bådene på ca. 30 minutter. Herefter er det jer, der skal samarbejde om at få båden rundt på kapsejladsbanen og kæmpe om sejren mod de andre hold.

Der er stadig enkelte ledige datoer inden sommerferien, og efter sommer venter en lang række fantastiske sejldage på Øresund ☀️💨

63 Years Apart. Still the Same Spirit.

These photos were taken more than 60 years apart, but they tell the same story.

last week, more than 200 sailors gathered for the OK Dinghy World Championship 2026, where 24-year-old Johan Schubert became World Champion.

A lot has changed since 1963. The boats are faster, the equipment is more advanced, and the heavy woollen sweaters have largely been replaced by wetsuits.

But the spirit of the class remains the same.

The average age of the fleet may be a little higher than it was in 1963, yet the sense of community seems stronger than ever. And with more than 200 boats on the starting line, the class is living proof that great sailing and great friendships never go out of style.

Congratulations to Johan and thank you to everyone who helped make this championship one to remember.

The First OK World Champion

As the OK Dinghy World Championship 2026 is already underway, we’re taking a look back at the history of one of sailing’s most iconic classes.

Over the next few days, we’ll tell the story of the first-ever OK Dinghy World Champion, Svend Jakobsen (DEN 112), and revisit the years when the OK class exploded in popularity and was filled with young talents chasing their sailing dreams.

In 1963, the sailing world was stunned when 18-year-old Danish champion Svend Jakobsen won the very first OK Dinghy World Championship at Lac d’Hourtin near Bordeaux, France. His achievement earned him BT’s Gold Medal for Sporting Performance of the Year and made him one of Denmark’s brightest sailing stars.

But the victory was far from expected. Behind the title was a remarkable story of determination, talent, and countless hours on the water.

Follow along over the next couple of days as we revisit the journey of the young sailor who became the first name ever engraved on the OK Dinghy World Championship trophy.
