In the junior and young rider tests, the walk is also very important, and it's at least as important to master as the trot and canter✅The walk is the gait that is most difficult to improve, but even so, you can remedy quite a few problems with the way you show the walk✅In the collected walk, you must both watch the rhythm and make sure that the pole is the highest point - not least in the walk pirouettes✅

ALEXANDER & ANDREAS HELGSTRAND🤩WARM UP ON A BIG HORSE - PART II🦄

In the warm-up, it is important to make the horse soft and flexible, and here the lateral movements are good - with them you can also check whether the horse responds correctly on the legs🐎

Transitions are also a huge thing in dressage, and it really pays off to ride them correctly every single time, because then the horse learns to do it every time too. And here the trick is that a transition must be fluid - that is, you must remember to drive into the transition and not just use the reins👍🤓
