🚴‍♂️ Cycling Legends: Jelle Wallays 🌟

Today we shine a spotlight on a truly remarkable Belgian cyclist, Jelle Wallays, who has left a lasting mark on the world of professional cycling. Since starting his pro career in 2011, Jelle has shown unmatched determination and perseverance, achieving numerous significant victories.

🏆 Major Achievements:

Paris–Tours: Won the race twice, in 2014 and 2019, demonstrating incredible strength in long solo breakaways.

Dwars door Vlaanderen: Achieved a brilliant victory in 2015, after a successful late-race break, beating top competitors like Peter Sagan.

Stage win in Vuelta a España: In 2018, he secured an important win on Stage 18, solidifying his place among elite riders.

Other races: Won Grand Prix Cerami (2016), Omloop van het Houtland (2014), and a stage in Vuelta a San Juan (2018).

💪 The Spirit of a Champion:

In 2017, Jelle suffered serious injuries in the Vuelta a España (broken wrist and ribs) but completed the race, showing his incredible resilience and fighting spirit.

🚴‍♂️ After Retirement:

After a professional career that lasted until 2023, Jelle is taking on a new challenge in 2025: riding 15,000 km across 23 European countries in 100 days, in memory of his uncle and to support the cancer charity Kom op tegen Kanker.

🚴‍♂️🔥 Cycling Legends Series – New Episode

Today’s legend is Juho Suikkari – a Finnish rider who may not have global fame, but his impact on cycling in his country is undeniable.

🌍 Nationality: Finnish 🇫🇮

🏆 Key Achievements:

Finnish National Road Race Champion (1990, 1993, 1994).

Winner of local one-day races such as Imatran Ajot and Susikierros.

Competed in cyclocross and achieved results in U23 and other categories.

📖 A little story:
Juho personally told us a funny story 🧖‍♂️🔥 – the idea for one of Finland’s greatest cycling challenges, the Saimaa Cycle Tour, actually came to him while sitting in a sauna with a friend. From that casual moment, a dream grew into one of the most iconic long-distance tours in Northern Europe.

💡 Inspiration:
Juho shows us that creativity can strike in the simplest moments, and that you can leave a lasting mark on the sport even without being in the global spotlight.

🌍 Exclusive news:
Juho will be cycling in Egypt for the very first time this October 🚴🇪🇬✨
