Other than seeing the under water world, diving is great practice for moving efficiently, finding balance, calmness and buoyancy management.

10 years ago today, I arrived at the #2012 !

Each country had decorated its residence with flags and we were given a map of campus to find our home for the next 2 weeks.

had a huge moose out front that every Canadian athlete got to sign and all I remember thinking is ‘I DON’T KNOW HOW TO SIGN A MOOSE!’.

At the time, I didn’t realize that a lack of confidence in tiny insignificant challenges, can carry over to into other aspects of life or my race a few days later!

So my message for today is to start seeing any arbitrary obstacle as an opportunity to practice positive self talk and encouragement rather than self doubt.
