And that’s a wrap — Copenhagen Open Championships 2026 are complete!

We finished in style today with épée, closing a fantastic week of fencing across all three weapons.

Congratulations to our final champions:
🥇 Natalja Stiller — Copenhagen Champion, Women’s Épée
🥇 Sarah Schremmer Larsen & Nina Aabech — Club Champions, Women’s Épée
🥇 Jonas Lau Madsen — Copenhagen & Club Champion, Men’s Épée

With today’s results, we were also proud to award the Triune Medal for the very first time, celebrating the best overall performance across sabre, foil, and épée.

New this year besides the impressive medals, was another championship delight → pizza for everyone 🍕
Judging by the smiles, that decision definitely hit home… although for some, pizza three times in one week might have been just enough 😄

Foil day delivered!

Today’s Copenhagen Championships 2026 continued with women’s and men’s foil, showcasing speed, precision, and some truly beautiful fencing on the piste.

A huge congratulations to today’s double champions, claiming both Copenhagen Champion and Club Champion titles:
🥇 Sarah Schremmer Larsen — Women’s Foil
🥇 Jonas Lau Madsen — Men’s Foil

Strong performances, great finals, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day. Well fenced to all athletes who stepped on the piste 👏

Tomorrow (Thursday) we conclude the championships with Épée, and we’re excited to award the Triune Medal for the very first time — a special moment we’ve been looking forward to.

We’ve just wrapped up Day 1 of the Copenhagen Championships 2026 — and what a day it was!

Today was all about women’s and men’s sabre, with 31 athletes on the piste bringing the intensity from first bout to final touch.

As the year comes to an end, we want to send a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our camps and competitions throughout the year. It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome fencers, coaches, and guests from all over the world.

As the year comes to a close, Trekanten Fencing wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas🎄

This winter, we are proud to host our annual winter fencing camp, welcoming more than 170 fencers from around the world and over 200 participants in total, including coaches, volunteers, and staff.

To all of you taking part in the camp: we look very much forward to meeting you in Copenhagen for great fencing, strong community, and a memorable camp experience 🤺❄️
