Summer is coming, and so is dive season! 🤿
As the days get warmer, many of us spend more time preparing gear, planning dives and enjoying long days by the water. But one thing divers often underestimate is hydration.
Drinking enough, and drinking the right things - can make a real difference to comfort, focus and performance before, between and after dives.
In my latest blog post, I take a diver’s perspective on hydration and look at questions like:

Is coffee okay before diving?
Do soda and energy drinks count as hydration?
What about alcohol the evening before a dive?
When should divers consider electrolytes?
How can better hydration support safer and more enjoyable diving?

The short version: arrive hydrated, dive smart, and do not wait until you are thirsty.
