Sometimes it’s hard to know what to expect when you have a young horse that’s still a diamond in the rough, but it’s a process I enjoy very much 🤠

There are some important changes from 2026 that you want to know about:
• From this year, both Open, Amateur and Youth points will be rewarded with a payout
• If you have Paint Horse with visible white markings, you can earn an extra bonus per point by registering your horse for the Color Bonus. It is free and very simple to do

So proud of this horse for always showing up, we managed to score over 76 in both Ranch Trail and Ranch Riding 💙

Despite only practicing 2 times before the show, Kirstine rode him beautifully in all of their classes and the judges rewarded them every time 🥳

I’m very happy for the experience after our first time showing this year- Lillebabs is 16 now and I’m finding ways to keep him fit without riding too much in the riding arena, that he thinks is super boring most of the days… 😅 Luckily he finds Ranch Trail super exciting and we get to ride outside a lot 🥰

This pretty girl turned 15 years old last week 🎂🥳💕 I was unfortunately not home but she still got spoiled with her favorite treats and cuddles 🥰 Happy birthday Design, grateful for over a decade of memories, Archie and most importantly that you’re still with us, healthy and happy 🙏

After a long and cold winter, our bones have finally thawed, and spring has been really good to us! 🙏🌸

In one way, it still feels like the season is just about to start—but on the other hand, I can feel that a day off needs to make its way into my calendar soon! 🫣😅

I’ve put together a little carousel of moments from the past couple of months, filled with lessons, young horses, clinics, judging, and even our first trip to a show with our horses all the way in the Netherlands 🇳🇱💕 We didn’t see a single tulip 🌷, but the show definitely made up for the missed experience! 🥳

I’m currently packing my bags to fly to Norway 🇳🇴 for the second time this year, and there’s so much more to look forward to this year! 🙏

I hope you’re enjoying your horses and the wonderful weather—hope to see many old and new faces around! 🤠

I’m excited to share, that I’ve been approved as an APHA International Judge and now I can judge AQHA, APHA and NSBA approved shows.

I have so many great memories with American Paint Horses already, and I can’t wait to add even more from the judge’s chair 🥳

It’s a true honor for me to hold this card and I can’t thank APHA enough for their trust in me! 🙏

Horse-show life is not for the faint-hearted, and we truly couldn’t do what we do without the support of our families. Remember to thank them an extra time today. 😘

I’d like to share a recommendation to all of you showing AQHA/APHA/NSBA in Europe. Our associations work together to bring a show seminar on the last weekend of January every year. Last year it was in Denmark, this year in Prague and next year will again be a new location (TBD). Both associations send their Director of Judges/Competition to teach us 3 days and answer all our questions about the classes and showing in general. Staff joins them and you can do on-site paperwork with both AQHA and APHA. The amount of resources that they use to make this happen for us is crazy- and I don’t know anyone who participated and didn’t like it.

So my best recommendation for you is to reserve the last weekend of January in 2027 and join another ~200 exhibitors, judges and show managers in preparation for the show season! Best way to learn, connect with horse people and enjoy a weekend away in the off-season.

Counting down the days until show season starts 🥳

2025 was a fun and exciting year: we showed in Denmark 🇩🇰, Sweden 🇸🇪 and Germany 🇩🇪 and I got to do the whole range of classes: Halter, Ranch Conformation, Western Pleasure, Trail, Hunter Under Saddle, Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, Ranch Rail, In Hand Trail, Longe Line and even Showmanship! 🤠 I tried to limit myself to a few pictures only… not easy! 😅

2026 will bring both new and old shows for us and winter couldn’t pass quicker! 🙏

Hope to see many of you during the year! Which show are you looking most forward to in 2026? 🤩
