German open 2026
So close and still not there yet.
Overall a decent performance by the team, but this time it was not enough. The level was quite high in this years GO, and we were shortened down from 7 to 4 players:
3 being injured before the competition 😕

Juniors:
Zakinah Haidari - lost a close fight to UKR
Danilo Zapata - lost a close one to USA

Seniors:
Milad Haidari:
Won first against KOS
Won second against NED
Lost 3 fight to rank one from ESP (who took gold), but in s real tuff fight won in the last seconds.

Hassan Ali Amer: lost a close fight in 0,13 sec where the referees decision went against us.
Even though both fighters were stepping out in exact the same time, the center referee choose to punish Hassan and thus it wasn’t due to the other being better, but on the referees error.

Good job and no time to rest. Let’s continue the journey in Poland next weekend.

Riga Open 2026 – fire medaljer og stærke præstationer
Riga Open 2026 bød på hård international modstand, og holdet leverede flere stærke præstationer med fire medaljer som resultat.

Juniorer
🥈 Danilo – sølv
🥈 Zakinah – sølv

Seniorer
🥉 Milad – bronze
🥉 Nayel – bronze

Særligt Milads præstation er værd at fremhæve. På vejen til bronzemedaljen besejrede han den førsteseedede atlet i kategorien og viste, at han kan konkurrere med toppen af feltet. I semifinalen mødte han den rutinerede Iker Abad, hvor det denne gang blev til et nederlag.

Derudover leverede Hassan en stærk indsats i en ny vægtklasse, mens Annamaria deltog i sit første stævne på dette niveau og viste gode takter mod den internationale modstand.

En weekend med fire medaljer, stærke kampe og vigtig erfaring, som holdet kan tage med videre.

I morgen går det løs til Riga Open.

De første, der skal kæmpe er Zakinah Alhaidary og Danilo Rodrigo. De kæmper lørdag

Søndag er det AnnaMaria Fallesen, Hassan Ali Amer, Milad Haidari og Nayel Hussaini
