First game for owls ended in a catch and 4 goals for Aarhus Owl's against a stronger Hinkypuff Bologna with the score of 70*180.
Goals by Sebastian, Nanon and Signe! And a catch by Daniel!

Aarhus Owls har fået den danske plads til EQC, det europæiske mesterskab i Italien 23-24 April, og vi arbejder hårdt på at stille et hold, og vi vil gerne have jer med! Lyder det interessant? Så tøv ikke med at skrive til os! Ambitionen er læring og sjov, så har du en idé til et bestemt type mål du gerne vil score, eller vil du prøve at fange lynet med munden, så er pladsen din!

Dear players and former players from Aarhus and Denmark! Aarhus Owls has got the Danish spot for EQC, the European Championship in Italy 23rd-24th of April, and we are working hard to put together a team, and we want you to join! Does that sound interesting? Do not hesitate to write us! The ambition is learning and having fun, so if you have an idea for a specific type of goal you want to score, or if you want to try to catch the snitch with your mouth, then we have a spot for you!

Vi har for nyligt haft besøg af dr og Curlingklubben, og derfor er der naturligvis lavet en lille hyggelig video, hvor de oplever sporten for første gang! 🦉😁

Hvis nogen har lyst til at prøve quidditch, så har vi træninger hver tirsdag i uniparken, men kontakt os gerne for yderligere information!😁

Quidditch træning d. 2/3 kl. 16:30-18:00 i bunden af Uniparken overfor Steno Museet.

De nye restriktioner gør det muligt at dyrke udendørs sport med op til 25 personer samlet.

Derfor er det nu igen muligt for Aarhus Owls Quidditch at afholde træning.

Så mangler du også at komme lidt ud, få rørt dig, få fris luft, få et smil på læben og grine sammen med andre under styrede corona-forhold. Så kom og vær med til Quidditch træning i Uni-parken i morgen.

Du skal blot møde op i sportstøj og medbringe vand (og har du fodboldstøvler er det en fordel) og resten klare vi.
Vi håber på at se dig!

(Kommenter gerne herunder hvis du kommer og er med, men du er velkommen uanset. Vi deler os i 2 grupper hvis der fremmøder mere end 25 personer inkl. trænere)

English Version:

Quidditch training on 2/3 at 16: 30-18: 00 at the bottom of Uni-parken opposite the Steno Museum.

Today is ! That’s why we would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to a few key figures in quidditch. We don’t say thank you enough in quidditch to our volunteers, so this is a great chance. 💪

We would like to kick off by thanking the International Quidditch Association! Thank you for your hard work during these difficult times. You have proven to be the leading figure our sport needs. Also a big thank you to all those faceless volunteers in the organisation (translators, John from accounting,..)! You keep our sport on its two feet (no yellow cards here!). 🟨

Furthermore, we would like to thank Quidditch Europe. Organising a tournament in these times isn’t the easiest and the decisions that have been made weren’t simple. Quidditch Europe is also an organisation that has many faces that are not thanked enough individually for their work. With this post, we would like to say thank you. 🙏

Following, we would like to thank the community. Yes, that means you. Thank you for all your projects during these difficult times, keeping our sport alive in our hearts. You are quidditch. 🤾‍♀️

Lastly, we would like to thank our members of our club, Aarhus Owls Quidditch. We know that we haven’t played quidditch in a while, but your enthusiasm brightens our day and we would love to see you soon, back on the pitch.
