US Open Main Draw debut for Carol Lee 🇺🇸🎾

A special milestone and a performance to be proud of.

Carol made her US Open Main Draw debut against Katie Boulter and pushed the match to three sets, showing exactly why she belongs on this stage.

She earned this opportunity through her results and by qualifying for the wildcard competition — and then made the most of it with a strong performance in New York.

A great experience, valuable lessons, and another important step in her journey.

With Juan from 358 Sports Management and Head Coach Artem Smirnov by her side, Carol was well supported throughout the week.

We’re very happy to keep supporting you on your path, Carol, and excited for everything that’s still to come.

Welcome to the Academy, Julian! 🎾

We’re very happy to welcome Julian Valenthon to our Academy and to start working together.

One of Germany’s top junior talents, Julian is currently No. 3 in Germany U14 and just added another strong result this weekend, winning the Tennis Europe Category 3 U14 tournament in Ludwigshafen. 🏆

We’re excited to support Julian on the next steps of his journey, help him continue to develop as a player and athlete, and see where the work can take him.

Welcome to the team, Julian. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead! 💪🎾

Great weekend for our juniors! 🏆🎾

A strong showing at the Rheinland-Pfalz Championships with some great results from our players.

🏆 Liam Tarau — U11 Champion
🏆 Makar — U12 Champion

The two then faced each other in a close match, with Liam coming out on top before adding another title by winning the U12 doubles as well.

A great weekend of competition and a reward for all the work these players continue to put in on and off the court.

A big thank you as well to .grieb94 , who supported and accompanied the players throughout the tournament as their strength & conditioning coach.

DRILL OF THE DAY 🎾

Backhand Forward–Backward Movement

We spend a lot of time working on lateral movement in tennis — but moving efficiently in and out of the court is just as important.

In this drill, Coach Thilo and Falco work on adjusting their position based on the depth of the ball:

Deep ball → create space and move back.
Short ball → step in, take time away and attack.

The goal is not just to move faster, but to recognize the ball early and find the right distance for every shot.

Create space when you need it.
Take time away when you can.

DRILL OF THE DAY 🎾 | X-Drill with Tilo & Lina

8 balls. One simple goal: create space in defense, take away time in offense.

The pattern:
→ Deep forehand
→ Step in on the backhand
→ Deep backhand
→ Move forward and finish short

Repeat the sequence twice for a total of 8 balls.

The focus is on adapting your court position to the situation: create more space when defending, but step in and get closer to the ball when attacking.

Defend with space.
Attack by taking away time. 🎾

We’re excited to welcome Lina Simonsen to our team.

Lina is currently ITF World Tennis Tour Junior No. 635, Top 10 in Germany (U16), No. 1 in Hessen in her age group, and No. 107 in the German Women’s Ranking.

We’re looking forward to supporting her development, pushing her to the next level, and being part of her journey both on and off the court.

A huge milestone for Carol Lee as she claims her first WTA 125 singles title at the Warsaw Open! 🎾

We couldn’t be prouder of Carol and the work she has put in to reach this moment. Seeing her development, her commitment every day and the way she keeps pushing her level forward makes this one even more special for the entire T2 Academy team and her coach Artem Smirnov 23
