You plan a small, aesthetic foal video and somehow end up with a drone in a (very tall) tree 🌳. So basically: a completely normal content creation process by ME 🫩

Wilma delivered.
Nature filmed along.
The drone decided to stay upstairs.

Some of the best clips are therefore still hanging up there, including the technology, while we continue the search. Should we ever manage to rescue it in triumph, this story will of course continue here.☝🏻
Until then: big cinema, small loss of control — and condolences for the drone ☠️⚰️ are very welcome in the comments.

„120 hours at the VWB Spring Classic 2026“ — which sounds either like a spiritual retreat or a very specific kind of endurance test.

After almost three years of tournament abstinence, „Manni“ and I finally made our way back onto that illustrious parquet. And yes, it felt exactly as dramatic as it sounds. A comeback, but without the heroic soundtrack 🎧 — more like slightly creaky joints and a lot of emotional baggage.

🦄 „Manni“ is noticeably whiter now. I, on the other hand, have gone a distinguished shade of grey.
And yet: the absurd, stubborn, completely irrational amount of joy is still there. The kind that makes you forget time, sleep, and occasionally your dignity.

It wasn’t just a return. It was a small, chaotic, wonderful celebration.
Some things change. The best things don’t.

And a big thank you to the man at home , who held down the fort and got the farm ready for spring while we were out here chasing moments like these.

I spent an unreasonable amount of hours animating this vinyl record and creating this song.

Which, for the record, was made with AI.�Not because I’m lazy.�But because absolutely no one wants to hear me 😵‍💫sing.

The song is called “Velvet Galaxies.” 🪐✨

And yes, it’s also a little terrifying
how good AI is getting at this.

Like… genuinely impressive.
And mildly unsettling.

I’m still figuring out how I feel about that.

But for now it helped me do something
I couldn’t have done otherwise:

Make a song
for someone who apparently deserves
his own soundtrack.

So yes.
I made him one.
�Because sometimes a person enters your life and suddenly everything feels�a little more cinematic.

Der perfekte Moment also, um Danke zu sagen. Richtig. Ohne Agenda. Einfach ehrlich. ❤️

🙏🏻 Danke an meine Kunden, Freunde und alle, die mich dieses Jahr begleitet haben — für euer Vertrauen, eure Geduld, eure Offenheit, die Gespräche, das Chaos und dieses Gefühl, dass wir dieses Jahr irgendwie gemeinsam hinbekommen haben. Ich nehme nichts davon als selbstverständlich. Wirklich nicht.

Und an alle, denen ich auch dieses Jahr wieder keine Weihnachtskarte geschrieben habe — weil ich einfach viel zu beschäftigt damit war, Pferde zu reiten:
Ich habe euch nicht vergessen. Wirklich nicht. Ich denke oft an euch.

🎙️Imagine spending 45 minutes just trying to convince the recording software that, yes, we do exist — and then somehow ending up with one very long episode. Not the ‘oh god when will it end’ kind of long, but the ‘wait, how did two people talk for hours about horse breeding evaluations and still make it fun?’ kind of long. 🎤🐴

Somewhere in between, there was cheese dripping down my face, a pizza on my head (don’t ask, it’s called ~art direction~), and us turning something as bureaucratic as linear descriptions of horses into actual entertainment.
Moral of the story? Podcasting is basically like a breeding inspection: it takes forever, it gets messy, but in the end… totally worth it. 🧀🍕

A massive thank you to from Quarter Horse Breeders Talk for inviting me — my favorite podcast counterpart, even when she has to watch me drown in mozzarella. 🤪 Because honestly, I love surrounding myself with creative people who share the same wild passion for Quarter Horses. That’s where the real fun (and the good conversations) begin.

Guys, hold on tight: The Foal-Strudel is created.🦄🦄🦄

Saturday in Münster – 14 foals on the triangle arena at the same time. Goosebumps, teary eyes and probably a brand-new word for the Oxford Dictionary 2026 👉🏻 the Foal-Strudel.

The past days were basically:
• camera 📷 and laptop 👩🏼‍💻 constantly at 5%,
• way too much Whiskey 🥃 and 🍸other stuff,
• and lack of sleep 🥱💤

But it was worth every second. The “little ones” blew us away, the “grown-ups” did too, and in the end the whole thing felt like a damn good festival. 🥳

And honestly, the best part: thanks to the DQHA, I get to work with the most amazing people. Our breeding team gave everything: Christina – absolute machine! Susanne – judging the performance test AND preparing the SSA like a champ. Vera – queen of the catalogue and our Insta-Karla-Kolumna – content level 💯! Sebastian – holding the championship together like a pro. Michael , Kirsten & I – bravely ranking all those horses 🙈. And Ronja & Christine – finding the right words and keeping our little circus 🎪 together.

1:1 umgesetzt, was wir trainiert haben – Nora & Rose beweisen, dass Horsemanship auch einfach Stil mit Plan sein kann. Das Finale, mehr als verdient. 🫶🏼😍💋

🖤❤️💛 EWU GERMAN OPEN 2025 🖤❤️💛 Vorlauf LK 1/2 Senior Ranch Riding Basis „Annie“ aka Aint Gonna Dance … die Zuchtstute, die plötzlich ihr Herz für Ranch-Klassen entdeckt, wirkt dabei so selbstverständlich, als hätte sie nur kurz die Schublade mit ihren versteckten Talenten aufgezogen. Ergebnis: einfach Spaß haben. 🥳
