Last race of the season is over … challenging conditions but fun trails in Eifa.
Went a little too slow and steady but I am quiet pleased with my 24. overall in my first year in the pro class.

Well awesome track, awesome weather … felt really good on the weekend and felt like top 50 was possible (50. in seeding) but a mechanical in the final ended that hope…
Positives to take away: felt really good on the bike, had fun and also my second dnf in 7 years so got that going for me 😂👌
Really motivated for in Ilmenau and my first race in Rossbach next weekend 🦾😤

Focus modus 👀…
So stoked with my ride …
Came in with a 02:00 in seeding and a 01:59 in the final…
Did not feel the track on Friday but stayed focused and tried to do my best… also tried to not get worried about the unstable weather …
Well it turned out all right 😁
Thx to my girl ♥️ who turned out to be a secret weapon when it comes to line spotting 📹😁 and who made the best vegi bolognese 🍝
Support Team was on point 🦾😁
Shoutout to who made his first race after his broken wrist … super proud of you mate 🤝☺️

First of 2022 is in the books… First Race in two years for me and I am stoked with my ride… turned a underwelming seeding run around in the finals (61. place )and found some pace on a Track with a layout I didn‘t like that much… so all good for the second round 🦾😤
Thx to for helping keeping my sh** together and not starving ♥️😂

at Ochsenkopf was a tough one… felt alright on Saturday but was lacking a bit … went into Sunday very motivated…
But during the night I got sick… apparently I caught a cold which left me with a sour throat and a lack of energy on Sunday…
Managed to labor through the day but couldn’t push or get my speed up…
But the event was awesome and learned a lot again 😁
Off to the last one at Eifa 🦾😤

The 5. round of in is in the books... and this was finally a good one ... didn‘t die or wreck my bike 🙌🥳😂
Still banged up from in Ilmenau and on antibiotics I managed to pull together a decent run on sunday which resulted in 33 place ... a step in the right direction 😁

Moin zusammen...
Lange ist's her und die Offseason hat uns alle schon im Griff...
In den vergangenen Wochen ist viel passiert ... daher eine möglichst kurze Zusammenfassung:
Die Saison 2018 ging am 30. September mit dem letzten iXS Downhill Cup beim Rosstrappendownhill (in Thale / Harz) zu Ende.
Lukas und Jacob konnten die Rennsaison mit einem positiven Trend für die Winterpause beenden:
Lukas: 31. Platz
Jacob: 35. Platz

So... lange ists her, dass Ihr was von uns gehört habt. Das lag v.a. daran, dass in letzter Zeit andere Sachen Priorität hatten. Das letzte Rennen in Klinovec war für Jacob und Lukas alles andere als erfolgreich. Jacob hatte das ganze Wochenende mit seinem angeschlagenen Handgelenk zu kämpfen und konnte aufgrund der starken Schmerzen im Finale nicht starten. Bei Lukas lief es eigentlich gut, bis er in seinem Finallauf schwer stürzte und sich Schlüsselbein und Schulterblatt brach. Das bedeutete 6 Wochen Pause. Hier trotzdem etwas verspätet ein paar Impressionen.
