Think ocean water just tastes salty? Think again.

Photographer David Littschwager magnified a single drop of seawater by 25 times — and what he captured will blow your mind.

Inside that tiny droplet was an entire microscopic universe: crab larvae, diatoms, plankton, fish eggs, tiny worms, and countless other marine microbes — all drifting unseen in every gulp of seawater.

It’s not just salt… it’s life in its smallest, strangest, and most stunning form.

A vivid reminder that the oceans are teeming with wonder — even in a single drop.
