A once-in-a-lifetime mare. Our very first international superstar. The mother of so many extraordinary horses and an irreplaceable part of our story.

But above all, you were our friend.

From the very first moment we saw you, we knew you were special. There was something about you that could never be overlooked. You had a presence, a spirit, and a character all your own.

You were a true fighter, fierce, honest, and endlessly determined. Stubborn at times, but always with the best intentions. You lived life your way, and that is exactly what made you so unique and unforgettable.

You were the horse that started it all. The mare who put Stal van de Kalevallei on the map. You traveled the world, competed at the highest level, and excelled in everything you did. Your achievements, your legacy, and the impact you had on so many lives make you a mare who truly belongs in the history books… A mare worthy of the Hall of Fame.

Thank you, Sissi, for everything you gave us. For the memories, the lessons, the victories, and the countless moments of joy.

We were incredibly fortunate to care for you and to have you as part of the Stal van de Kalevallei family. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

A special thank you to Jur Vrieling, for allowing Sissi to shine and for bringing out her true talent and spirit. And a sincere thank you to everyone who cared for her throughout her life, from her very first moments to her very last. Your love and dedication meant the world.

It all came together on the grand stage of the CSIO5* Longines League of Nations Final, where Jumping Jack van de Kalevallei delivered two very consistent rounds and then gave it his all in the decisive jump-off between Team Ireland and Great Britain. Barely 0.23 seconds stood between gold and silver, yet Jumping Jack’s performance spoke volumes: strength, focus, and dedication.

Over the past years, we’ve shared posts about his steady rise, his training and his victories. Now we see him competing against the very best in the world, helping Team Ireland claim the silver medal! What an amazing achievement that honours the bloodline, the breeding farm, and every hour of work our team has put in behind the scenes throughout the years.

A medal that celebrates teamwork, ambition and sportsmanship.
