What a journey. What a year. 🥹🏀
The season is officially over, and my heart is overflowing with pride for what we built together. This year was never just about the games we won or the trophies we chased—it was about something much bigger. It was about creating a powerful, lasting women’s basketball culture right here in Stuttgart.
I coached nearly 70 games this season across 4 different teams. Honestly, it was exhausting and pushed me to my limits. But seeing the growth, the sweat, and the pure dedication of these players made every single second worth it. Look at what these incredible groups achieved:
Making History: We secured the first-ever WNBL qualification in MTV history!
National Pride: 6 of our young athletes earned spots on different national teams!
Fearless Youth: We reached the WNBL Top 8 in our debut season. With half the roster still U16, we pushed Hagen to a 3-game thriller and missed the Final Four by just 2 heartbreaking points.
Champions: U16 B*W Champions and U16 Southwest German Champions!
Elite Level: 4th place at the Top 8 German Championship.
Building the Future: Finished 6th in the 2.DBBL, leading the entire country in playing minutes given to German U22 players.
Honored: Grateful to be named 2nd place for "Coach of the Year" in the 2.DBBL Süd.
We might not have a medal around our necks, but we earned something much more valuable: respect. Stuttgart is officially on the map as a powerhouse for women’s basketball, and nobody can take that away from us.
To my players: thank you for leaving your hearts on the court. To my co-trainers: thank you for your endless support. To the parents: thank you for trusting me with your kids. To my family: thank you for your unconditional love and patience during the chaos. And thank you, God, for giving me the blessing to live these unforgettable moments.
After 10 months of giving absolutely everything I had... it's time to drop the mic. 🎤
