Golf and Country Club Leinetal Einbeck

Located south of the Harz mountains this course falls in the category of "just for fun golf", but to give it credit it is still nice to play. The whole course is just one big field with a few planted trees to mark the fairways. It it almost impossible to loose any balls on this course. Wide open fairways, two doglegs and one hole with water which does not really come into play.
What I did like was the short par 3s, all around 100 meters.
The greens were interesting and looked nice but needed to be cut and rolled, so a bit slow, not really up to standard.
Not a long course, Par 69, so if your looking to lower your handicap, this is the place to play.
Also a nice clubhouse which would not look out of place in Austria but definitely not a Country Club.

I have heard a lot of good things about this course and was definitely not disappointed when I played it.
This course is nice on the eye, set in beautiful countryside. The fairways are in top condition and the Greens are a pleasure to putt on.
A course where you need to keep the Ball straight, not a long course, but still very challenging at times. Love the Par 3s and the 18th coming back to the club house. Well worth a visit.

Surrounded by forest and fields and in the shadow of the Harz Mountains you will find Golf club Bad Salzdetfurth-Hildesheim
A club of which i throughly enjoy playing. The first 8 holes are played in open fields with some really stunning scenery. Hole 9 through to 18 are played in the forest with tight tree lined fairways which would challenge any golfer. The whole course is in super condition and the greens would not look out of place on any PGA Tour course. This course ticks all the boxes and is well worth a visit.

I wasn't quite sure of this course when we played the first of the front nine.
We spent most of the time trying to work out where the next tee is.
The course is well spread out so be prepared to do a lot of walking.
But to be fair the more we played it the more we loved it.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside,this course has everything from wide, tight, blind and strange fairways to large, small and narrow greens.
The elevated green on the 11th par 3, the blind tee on the 12th and the approach on to the 18th green are very daunting!
I will definitely play this a few times more this year.
Also a super clubhouse with good food and very friendly staff

Hard to say anything bad about this course because I'm a member.!
The club to give its merits has a good feeling with the members being really friendly.
The course, sadly to say is not in the best condition which is due to the people who are in charge of green keeping! The fairways need to be cut down more and the greens are in a poor state. ( I've been told that next year a new green keeper crew are coming in)
But still it's worth a visit if not the 50€ weekend greenfee

A course of which I have played many times. Beautifully set in the parklands of Weserbergland, this course is a must play for any golfer.
It starts off with a few simple holes but gets really interesting from the six hole onwards. Holes 7 to 16 are carved out in the forest hills.
With tree lined, sloped and tight fairways, this course is a challenge.
Also take a minute to look around at the beautiful countryside and appreciate this fantastic course

You can describe this course in one
Word - Fantastic!
Set in the scenic hills of Weserbergland you know just by driving up to the clubhouse that this is going to be something special.
This is a monster of a course with every hole a stunner! You just need to take a minute, look around and appreciate the full beauty of this gem.
It's really hard to find fault as this course ticks all the boxes.
This one is not for the faint hearted or the unfit and deserves the Stay & Play Niedersachsen seal of excellence.

Nice flat course with really no thrills also in very nice condition with the greens up to a good standard.
The type of course for a quick 18 in the week and not for the golfer who likes a challenge.

Been meaning to play this course for years. Deep in tradition, what with it being one of the oldest courses in Niedersachsen.
This course is truly a pleasure to play set in beautiful countryside with its tight tree lined fairways. The only disappointment was having to play on winter greens.
With a main motorway running through the course it can be a bit loud at times. So not for the golfer who likes peace and quiet.
Looking forward to coming back in the summer when it is in its prime because I'm sure this definitely has more to offer.

Nice enjoyable round despite the cold wind yesterday. Just the right course to play on a Sunday afternoon.
Compliments on the green keeping staff for the excellent condition of the course for this time of year.
Long par 5s and interesting par 3s. We will definitely be back in the summer

At last the sun comes out so took advantage of the good weather to play Golf Club Gleidingen. Rated to be one of the best links courses in Germany.
