Rückblick nach Gambia.
Die Entwicklung, die diese Jungs im letzten Monat gemacht haben ist wirklich unglaublich.
Wenn ich mir die Videos ansehe, welche ich anfangs im Vergleich zu jetzt gepostet habe, ist der Unterschied wirklich extrem. Wir haben jeden Tag 2 Mal die reinen Basics trainiert und man muss sagen, die Jungs lernen weit schneller als die meisten Spieler hier im Westen der Welt. Die Motivation dort ist einfach komplett anders. Wenn sie es nach Europa schaffen, wird ihre Familie länger leben und ihre Familie kann ein besseres Leben führen. Diese Art von Motivation kann man nicht einfach improvisieren. Die Zeit dort hat meine Meinung stark darüber geändert, was man in so einem kurzen Zeitraum verändern und erreichen kann. Das ist pure Emotion ...this is the beautiful game!

Back in Germany now looking through all the videos from Gambia. Here’s a little summary of all the trainings.
The improvement these boys have made during the last month working together is really incredible.
If you watch the videos I have posted as compared to now, the difference is really there to see. Anyone can see it. We trained every single day two times a day only on pass quality and awareness. The talent out there in Africa is there. And they learn even quicker than most players in the western part of the world. The motivation is just different there. If they make it to Europe their family will live longer, and their families family can have a better life. This kind of motivation you just cannot replicate and it changed my opinion on what players are capable of learning. This is emotion... this is the beautiful game.

Noch immer ist er einer der bekanntesten Fussballakteure der Schweiz.
Urs Meier hat in 27 Jahren 883 Spiele geleitet und war seit 1994 als FIFA Referee in zahlreichen Champions-League, sowie UEFA-Cup Spielen im Einsatz.

Für diejenigen die noch nicht zu 100% überzeugt sind: Liam verwendet exakt den selben Bewegungsablauf wie bei einer unserer Übungen aus dem Paket. Er löst sich von seinem Gegenspieler und macht anschließend das Tor!
