Wir sind zurück aus der Winterpause und bereiten uns auf die Rückrunde vor. Trainiert werden , Technik und Spielzüge, jeden Donnerstag um 20:30 Uhr in der outdoor Halle. Jede und jeder ist willkommen, egal ob erfahren, Neueinsteiger oder nur mal zum schauen und ausprobieren. Beim findet sich für jede Statur die passende Position auf dem Feld.

Everybody is welcome, we are always happy to find new players for our men team and our women team. Age, size or fitness don't matter, as there are different tasks for every position in the team.

Wir wünschen euch allen fröhliche Weihnachten und ein gesundes neues Jahr. Hinter uns liegt ein erfolgreiches Jahr, das wir mit unseren Freunden von bestritten haben. Wir konnten viele neue Gesichter begrüßen und ein besonderer Dank geht an die Spielerin des Jahres , den Spieler des Jahres , der mit einer fulminanten Leistungssteigerung als fullblack geglänzt hat, den besten Newcomer .grillo , und der Club-Legende für sein Lebenswerk auf und neben dem Platz. Für uns beginnt jetzt die Masse-Phase, und ab dem 01. Februar 2024 sind wir wieder jeden Donnerstag im beim

We wish you a merry christmas and a lovely, healthy and peaceful new year! Together with our friends from we had a succesful year with many new faces. Also we would like to thank the female player of the year Jenny, the male player of the year Odi who shows in every game why the are invincible, the most improved player Terrence, the best newcomer Alan, and Pat for his lifetime efforts for the club on and off the pitch. For us the time has come to bulk up and we will be from february the 1st every thursday. Everybody is welcome and we are always happy to welcome new faces!

Unfortunately our game today has been cancelled due to a Covid case at the opposition. Game next Saturday is still on Saturday against Landsberg though and looking forward to seeing you all down pitch side.

3G rules apply for both players and spectators (just an Antigenschnelltest but you need to bring proof!)!

Match Report: TSB Ravensburg v TSV Nördlingen

The Ravens first home league game since 2019 proved to be a thriller. With Ravensburg finally on home soil and able to put out a full 15, the boys were raring to go from the very first whistle.
The Ravens played a tight game, with the forwards immediately making ground from some of their big runners. The number 3 Joss Perry in particular made some barn storming runs putting the opposition on the back foot. Flanker turned centre Odi Losaba also made some incisive running lines before the ball to drive Ravensburger deep into the opposing 22. After more tight forward action the ball came out before flanker Holger Welzel crashed over next to the posts. Stand in fly half Michael Maher added the 2 points the make the score 7-0.
It was more of the same from the Ravens pack, with the big forward such as captain Thilo Maier making the hard yards allowing our centres to make damaging runs once the opposition defence had broken up. 13 Lorenz was the winner this time, taking the ball on just inside the 22 before crashing through a retreating defence to touch down to extend the lead to 12-0.
Nördlingen weren’t about to take this onslaught lying down though. Their backline caused us trouble on the outside throughout the game and this was the first time that we let them loose. The Ravens hadn’t been able to sort out the defensive line which allowed the Nördlingen winger the see and take space on the outside and run in for a long range try.
This proved to be the tale of the half: on the one side with the Ravensburg forwards and inside backs making metres and getting in behind the Nördlingen defence, keeping the score board ticking over with tries from Odi, Michael and scrum half Andy Klatt and on the other with the Nördlingen outside backs scoring breakaway tries to keep them within reach.

The second half seemed to start the same way as the first had ended, with the Nördlingen number line spotting a gap after the Ravens didn’t cover the space around the ruck before running half the length of the pitch to score under our posts. This brouth Nördlingen to within 7 points and they almost took the lead, again with their wing making a long distance break before making a critical mistake when putting the ball down, allowing Ravensburg to turn the ball over before getting the penalty. Penalty followed penalty after Duffy was brought down within 10m. After a tap and go Lorenz made another of his quickly becoming trade mark runs before before being hauled down just short of the line. After another penalty on the 5m line, Duffy picked and went from short to get the score board going for the Ravens in the second half 38-26.
At this point the Ravens started to take control of the game, with the big runners causing more and more trouble for the opposition. The tries kept on coming for the Ravens as the in-tight defence started causing Nördlingen to make mistakes in their own half leading to another penalty which Duffy took full advantage of to crash over before the opposition had reorganised their defence. The trend of big runs kept us advancing down the pitch and the next tries for newcomer JB and Peter came from continued pressure on the opposition line allowing them to go over from close. The next try came from Odi after bursting through the line on one of his aggressive line and the final try of the game came from Peter after he spotted the gap from close after a series of scrums in the opposition 5m line.

The Ravens welcome TV 1861 Ingolstadt, currently sitting 2 places above them in the league, on Saturday 6 November in what should prove to be a tough test for the team.

Only 🔙 we were in 🇵🇹 on our where we played .rugby and enjoyed what Portugal’s capital had to offer. Boy did we have a good time!
