Most days, there’s a car sitting beneath the five-by-ten-metre sail of light. With seven metres of open space above it and almost nothing to distract the eye, even a shape you know well begins to look different.
Then the car rolls out, a rail of clothes comes in, someone puts music on and the room becomes something else.
That was always the idea. Not a car studio trying to be more than a car studio. Just a seriously good space for making things, whoever or whatever happens to be in front of the camera that day.
It could become a fashion set, a music video, a filmed conversation, a live session, a launch or something nobody has found the right name for yet. The room doesn’t tell you what to make in it.
That’s probably what we like most about it.
