Muaythai Gala Celebrates 20 Years of Fight Team Oppenheim in Germany
This Saturday, June 13th, the German Muaythai community will gather in Oppenheim for a special evening of competition and celebration as Fight Team Oppenheim marks its 20th anniversary with a Muaythai Gala under the auspices of the MTBD, Germany’s sole IFMA member federation.
The event holds added significance as Fight Team Oppenheim is led by MTBD Vice President Alexander Dibaba, whose dedication to the development of Muaythai in Germany has helped nurture athletes from grassroots participation through to the professional ranks.
The gala will showcase the full pathway of Muaythai development, featuring IFMA-style round robin competition alongside professional contests contested under WMC rules. The unique format highlights the sport’s structured progression, providing opportunities for athletes at every stage of their journey while demonstrating the strong foundations upon which Germany’s Muaythai community continues to grow.
Fans can expect an exciting lineup featuring some of Germany’s finest established athletes as well as the next generation of emerging talent. From young prospects gaining valuable ring experience to seasoned competitors performing on the professional stage, the event promises a celebration of Muaythai’s past, present, and future.
As Fight Team Oppenheim commemorates two decades of dedication to the sport, the Muaythai Gala stands as a testament to the continued growth of Muaythai in Germany and the strong collaboration between local clubs, MTBD, IFMA, and the WMC in developing athletes and opportunities across all levels of competition.
The WMC wishes Fight Team Oppenheim, Alexander Dibaba, and all participating athletes a successful and memorable event as they celebrate this important milestone for German Muaythai.
