𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗯𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝘂𝗳𝗵𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗹𝘇𝗲/𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿
Die Entscheidung der Stewards, das deutsche Mitropa Rally Cup Team Fabian Schulze/Jacqueline Kaiser im Peugeot 208 Rally4 nach der Schlusskontrolle zu disqualifizieren, wurde nach einer Überprüfung durch die Austrian Motorsport Federation (AMF) mit dem heutigem Datum aufgehoben.
Dem Team wurde bei der routinemäßigen Endkontrolle zur Last gelegt, in ihrem Peugeot 208 Rally4 eine nicht homologierte Windschutzscheibe verbaut zu haben und wurden am Samstagabend von der Wertung ausgeschlossen. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt lagen sie im Mitropa Rally Cup auf dem 4. Rang und in der Austrian-2WD-Wertung auf einem sensationellen 2. Rang.
Eine neuerliche Überprüfung der Angelegenheit durch die Abteilung Technik der AMF wurde nun festgestellt, dass in diesem Fahrzeug keine beheizbare Windschutzscheibe verbaut war und die dort angebrachten Prüfzeichen für die serienmäßig verbaute Windschutzscheibe gilt, die dort auch montiert war. Aufgrund dieses Irrtums wird die Ergebnisliste der Veranstaltung korrigiert. Auch für den Mitropa Rally Cup wurde das Ergebnis korrigiert und das Team erhält selbstverständlich die entsprechenden Meisterschaftspunkte.

The stewards’ decision to disqualify the German Mitropa Rally Cup team of Fabian Schulze and Jacqueline Kaiser in their Peugeot 208 Rally4 following the final inspection was reversed on March 18, 2026 after a review by the Austrian Motorsport Federation (AMF).
During the routine final inspection, the team was accused of having installed a non-homologated windshield in their Peugeot 208 Rally4 and were excluded from the classification on Saturday evening. Up to that point, they were in 4th place in the Mitropa Rally Cup and in a sensational 2nd place in the Austrian 2WD classification.
A re-examination of the matter by the AMF’s Technical Department has now determined that no heated windshield was installed in this vehicle and that the certification marks affixed there apply to the standard windshield that was actually installed. Due to this error, the event’s results list has been corrected. The result has also been corrected for the Mitropa Rally Cup, and the team will, of course, receive the corresponding championship points.
