Welcome to the official page of the racing team 'RYS Team WP Performance'. Two engineering students Kai Störling (GER) and Yannic Windeln (GER).

RYS Team WP Performance is competing in the Reiter Young Stars series and the GT4 European Series 2016. The team is combined by:
Two professional racing driver: Rebecca Jackson (UK) and Thomas Krebs (Denmark). One economic student, Dennis Schaefer (GER).

Every story has an ending, what feels like yesterday is now over and we behind RYS Team WP would like to thank all followers for this season.
In a month we travel down to Salzburg for the price ceremony and hopefully we can take home the first price! Until then, we wish you a good fall!

The weekend is now over and it is with mixed feelings we travel back home for the last time this season. It has been a weekend filled with challenges and we had hoped to finish the season with a greater result but this is racing and it doesn't always go as you plan.

At 11.00 it was time for Race 2 and Naomi Schiff Racing started out in P30. The start was relatively smooth as the 37 car accelerated down the main straight. With the strategy to pit for driver change in the later part of the pit window to utilise the lighter traffic, Naomi pitted after the half mark of the race. Unfortunately, as Marylin Niederhauser headed out for her first lap of Race 2 we were given a drive through penalty for speeding in pit lane. This caused us to drop back in the field and lose the momentum that was building. Marylin however didn't give up without a fight and to the last minute she pushed and ended up in P24.

It is now time for the students to head back home and in about a month meet up with the entire Reiter Young Stars for the price ceremony. It is still a very open field for the students and it will come down to just a few points!

For the drivers the season has also come to an end and we would like to congratulate Mads Siljehaug and Lennart Marioneck for taking home the Reiter Young Stars 2017 and earning a fully paid season in BLANCPAIN GT SERIES for the next season!

Saturday is coming to an end down at Nürburgring and unfortunately not like we wanted it to!

Marylin's qualifying for Race 1 positioned us at P16 but during the first part of the race Marylin was pushed in the rear and spun off. This of course meant that we lost a couple of positions and somehow we ended up with a drive through penalty on top of that.
As Naomi took over she managed to maintain the position and in the end climb a few places for a final P28.
Of course we are not happy with this result but this is racing and sometimes you have bad luck.

We are looking forward to tomorrow's Race 2 and hopefully we will turn this around and finish the season finale as reflection to the hard work the team have performed this weekend!

Qualifying is over and you can really notice that it is the season finale!

Marylin started out and managed to secure a good P17 for Race 1! For Q2 the pace picked up and the field became really competitive and Naomi secured P30 for Race 2.

In a couple of hours we go racing and the team couldn't be more excited!

Friday has come to an end and the team feels confident that tomorrow will be a better day! Struggles followed during both the free practices but everything is now solved and all is set for tomorrow Qualifying and Race 1!

The Weather is changing quickly down at Nürburgring! FP2 is around the corner and suddenly we have sunny skies! We don't mind at all and look forward to a great session!

FP1 was challenging with mixed conditions due to some rain in the middle of the session!
The car is back at the paddock and the preparations for FP2 are done! At 16.50 we will head out for the second practice with the hopes to get the answers that will turn this weekend into an epic finish!
