The kind of day you wait all summer for. 🏔️ Fresh snow, an open slope and a board that is up for whatever you feel like doing.
From playful turns in the park and fast all mountain laps to long carves and the quiet seconds when you stop and look around. Every turn leaves a line, and watching the Altair draw a few of its own across the snow is exactly what it was made for.

Stiffness and dampening are not the same thing. explains the difference and shows how dampening works in the Independence binding, so you know what actually happens between your boots and your board.
Which one matters more for the way you ride? Let us know in the comments.
