Annual General Meeting & Prize Giving Ceremony Highlights

Last Sunday, we successfully hosted our Annual General Meeting & Prize Giving Ceremony in a warm and cozy restaurant setting. It was a wonderful day filled with meaningful discussions, reflections on the season gone by, and exciting plans for the future.

One of the proudest moments of the day was honoring our best-performing players, recognizing their dedication, commitment, and outstanding performances throughout the season.

Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka — a true cricket fight till the very last ball. And at the end, Bangladesh roared to victory!

Watching from here in Bangladesh, I could hear the screams, the celebrations, the pure joy of cricket all around. This is what the game is all about — passion, belief, and never giving up.

Let’s talk about intent. Let’s talk about class.

💥Isar Tiger 🐅 Bat First, and Nizamul Goes Big
The top order wobbled early at 41/3, but Mohammed Nizamul Islam walked in and owned the stage. Calm, controlled, and ruthless he crafted a stunning 109 off 112 balls, anchoring the innings and punishing every loose delivery.

Support came from:
• Md Istiaq Mahbub with a solid 29 off 49
• Zahidullah Safi smashing 37 off 17 in the final push

End result? A commanding 258/8 in 40 overs — more than enough, thanks to that Nizamul masterclass.

🔥 Then Came the Bowling Storm
TVEGF never recovered from the early blows.
Nurul Amin tore through their lineup with a 5-wicket haul (5/20 in 3.2 overs) straight-up carnage.

The rest of the bowling unit — Shakibuzzaman, Jubayer, Shamim, Adnan — kept the squeeze on, offering no breathing space.

TVEGF folded for 99 all out. That’s a 117-run thrashing. That’s domination.

Isar Tigers Munich – Our Amazing Cricket Journey

We, the Isar Tigers Munich, started playing hardball cricket in 2023. That year, we only had Sunday morning internal practice sessions in Pasing. Some of our players also got the chance to play some matches with the Tegernsee team.

In 2024, we finally started playing as a team and what a start it was! We performed amazingly in both T20 and 40-over matches. Sadly, due to rain and a few very close losses, we missed out on a higher position. But still, we finished number 3 in both formats. A great achievement for our first season!

As winter 2025 began, we kicked off our indoor practice with strong energy and full dedication. Our T20 league season didn’t start well we lost the first two matches. But we came back stronger than ever, winning 9 out of 12 matches!

Because of that incredible comeback, we became the group champions of BCV T20 Verbandsliga 2, Earned promotion to BCV T20 Verbandsliga 1!

Inshallah, next year we will proudly play in BCV Verbandsliga 1.

Also exciting, we are very close to becoming group champions in the ODI league too!

This success happened not only because of our players’ hard work and team spirit, but also because of the amazing support, love, and belief from our fans and well-wishers. We are truly thankful to all of you. Your motivation means the world to us.

T20 match update:

On 20th July, Sunday in our home ground, we played our Last T20 matches of the season against SVWB-2. Isar Tigers won both matches comfortably. Both match shows the quality of our two spinners, who bamboozled the opponent with their spin bowling. Below is the bowling spell looks like of our two-star spinner:

First Match: MD Adnan Riaz (3.3-1-2-5) ( with a hat-trick)
2nd Match: Mohammad Rabiul Islam (3.2-0-12-6) ( with a hat-trick)

Another notable performance of our Opening allrounder (Literally) Mohd Shakibuzzaman: 24(21)* & 2/2, 71(53) & 18/1

Isar Tiger made sure to be on Top of the Group after these two wins and finish with a high note.

6th July 2025 in Feldmoching: Isar tiger won both matches comfortably against opponent from Puccheim. First match won by 60 runs in first match and by 26 runs in 2nd match. Notable performance of the day:
Batting: Momin 60 , Ashraf 43 ,Safi 42, Novel 25
Bowling: Jubayer 16/3, Safi 8/3, Adnan 6/3

13th July 2025 in Eggenfeleden against TVEGF:
Isar tiger lost first match by 5 wickets but come back strongly in 2nd match won by 95 runs. Notable performance:
Batting: Punno 67, Sakib 32, Tauseef 20
Bowling: Shamim, sabbier, Safi, Sihab , Jubayer took 2 wickets each

Isar tiger stays top of the table with 2 games remaining of T20 league next week.
