SuperCup 2026 – the highlight of the first Euro Unicorns journey is behind us.
Since December 2025, the girls and coaches have been training, meeting, traveling, and building something truly special together. Our journey started in Bratislava, continued in February in Schwechat, Austria, took us to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in the Czech Republic in March, to the Silver Cup in Mainz, Germany, in April, and to the Baseball is for Girls Too tournament in Bratislava in May. At the end of May, we reached the peak of our season – SuperCup 2026.
During these months, we created much more than just a baseball team. The girls built strong friendships, learned to support and motivate one another, and became a true family. They arrived as players from different clubs and countries, but they leave as teammates and friends for life.
The Euro Unicorns project was also a first-time experience at the European level for the project's organizer and manager, Zuzka Zambojová. Together, we proved that a dream like this can become reality.
None of this would have been possible without our parents, coaches, clubs, and, most importantly, the girls themselves. Thank you to everyone who supported the project, respected the schedule of training camps and tournaments across different countries, and encouraged the girls every step of the way. Your trust, commitment, and support made this journey possible.
A special thank you goes to the organizers of SuperCup for their support and invitation, to Ulli Wermuth for his support and for inviting us to the Silver Cup, and to Pavel Chadim for his encouragement, guidance, and belief in this project.
We would also like to thank all the fans who cheered for us and shared kind words throughout the season. Whether we were in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, or Slovakia, your support meant the world to us.
It has been an incredible journey filled with baseball, friendships, unforgettable experiences, and memories that will stay with us forever.
And there is one thing we know for sure:
Once a Unicorn, always a Unicorn.
Not only the girls became Unicorns. The coaches became Unicorns. The parents became Unicorns. Everyone who travelled with us, supported us, believed in us, and helped make this project possible became part of the Unicorn family.
The Euro Unicorns project continues, so that every girl knows she is welcome, supported, and valued in baseball.
