From brake test drama to silver trophies - back to Schwedt/Oder! 🇩🇪🏁

In 2025, our first-ever competition with PhoeniX at the VDE E-Race was a wild ride of extremes. While we successfully passed accumulator scrutineering on day one, we faced brake test problems that ultimately kept us from entering the dynamic events. ⚙️🔧 Despite the frustration, we gave our all in the static disciplines, earning 2nd place in Engineering Design and walking away with a surprise 2nd place overall trophy! 🥈

Now, we are just one week away from the first real test! The VDE E-Race 2026 is on the horizon, and we are bringing the T-Kiel A 26 X (IdefiX). Our focus is simple: gain as much experience as possible and learn a lot – all with a lot of “Spass und Liebe.” 💪🔥

Meet the T-Kiel A 26 X: IdefiX. 👀🏎️

It is fully electric, four-wheel drive, autonomous-ready and built for maximum efficiency. We learned from last season and engineered a car that is lighter, smarter and more reliable.

Sculpting the invisible. 🏎️💨

Turning a high-fidelity CFD model into a physical aerodynamic weapon is a relentless cycle of grit, resin, and carbon fiber. For the T-Kiel A 26 X, every fraction of a millimeter is the difference between clean flow and wasted drag.

Our Aerodynamics team is currently pushing through the full manufacturing cycle. From carving precision molds and sanding surfaces to a mirror-like finish, to the final, meticulous lamination of our carbon fiber components. This obsession with detail ensures that every layup can handle the massive dynamic loads on track while delivering maximum downforce.

From the first toolpath to the final vacuum seal, we are shaping the forces that will glue the T-Kiel A 26 X to the tarmac. Perfection isn’t just a goal, it’s the baseline. 🛠️✨
