Things never go as planned. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish the race. The trail took its toll. Four dogs were injured and one was exhausted. In Ursvattnet, our top support dog dropped out due to a joint injury. After Fjällsikten, another dog had to be taken away with a joint injury, and as we were leaving Fjällsikten, we saw that our two young females had also been affected. Except for two dogs, all of them had already run the AR ,but this was a first for us. It's a real shame; the last seven youngsters were still in good form. According to the new rule, the 12-dog class can only start with a minimum of seven dogs, so we didn't want to take any further risks. A huge thank you to all our dogs who fought so bravely.
