🏑❤️ Supporting Children Through Hockey – Together ❤️🏑
As Papi/Mami / Elternhockey players and parents, we share a strong commitment to initiatives that support and uplift children.
Over the past two years, our tournament has proudly supported STUPS Kinderhospiz in Krefeld through a highly successful lottery featuring fantastic prizes and unforgettable experiences.
For the 2026 edition, we are excited to expand our impact and also support the HESA Field Hockey Development Programme in Kenya 🇰🇪🏑
Alongside financial support, we will be collecting hockey equipment you may have at home — sticks, balls, and protective gear — to help these young players train and play safely.

🌍 About HESA – Field Hockey Development Programme (Kenya)
HESA’s mission is to nurture grassroots field hockey talent in local Nairobi communities, using sport to instill discipline, resilience, and hope for a brighter future.
• Children are introduced to hockey at a very young age — some as young as 4 years old
• The programme serves multiple age groups with a strong focus on early exposure and skill-building
• Training takes place on local community grounds, where access to facilities and equipment is extremely limited
• A key goal is to transition talented players into secondary schools through scholarships to provide a life-changing opportunity made possible through hockey
🤍 About STUPS Kinderhospiz (Krefeld)
When a child is born prematurely, with a disability, or with a serious illness, families often face overwhelming challenges. STUPS provides a unique 24/7 support network offering relief, care, and guidance.
The STUPS Children’s Center includes:
• Inpatient & outpatient children’s and youth hospice
• Inclusive daycare center
• Social-medical aftercare
• Outpatient pediatric nursing services

Dear Hockey Friends,
After two fantastic editions filled with great hockey, unforgettable evenings, and wonderful international friendships, we are excited to invite you back to Krefeld for the 3rd European Recreational Hockey Championship, taking place 26–28 June 2026!
Thanks to the nearly 300 players and fans from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain and beyond who helped make past tournaments such a success, this event has become a true highlight for recreational and parent hockey teams across Europe. We would be thrilled to welcome your team again for a weekend full of sport, fun, and community—played in the same spirit as always: fair, relaxed, mixed, and focused on the joy of the game.

After the Last European Championship we were able to donate €3,400 to the Stubs Children‘s Hospitz. This year we are planning another campaign to think about those who are not doing so well.
