Me and my reVELOtion Ladies escorted yet another indoor-cycler this weekend. Her talent was spotted on the indoor bike. Finally the invitation was extended to join us outdoors, and our new rider did not disappoint. Clearly exhausted on all points, our newbie was smiling from ear to ear after completing her first-ever outdoor sport-ride. She felt safe, motivated and supported amongst the myriad of challenges that a day on the bike brings with it. We never left her alone. On the climbs. On the descents. One of us was near her. We protected her in the peloton and calmed her after almost crashing (also her first day outside w clickies.) Her next step will hopefully be 10 sessions to address some specific cycling points more directly and completely. You know, like breathing and posture and energy economy. Also shifting, steering and braking. …Puh. 😅 Yeah, sounds like a lot but sharing this information is too much fun. Time flys, the learning curve is steep, and the feeling of success is significant after each session. Are you fit and looking for some individual instruction to help you navigate the world of sport cycling? Holler!! I’m your man & In many cases I can also provide rental equipment. See you on the bike. 🚲💪
