Es gibt einen neuen Ort für Pickleball in Karlsruhe! Wir sind beim VT Hagsfeld, in Schäferstrasse 26, dienstags und freitags. Es gibt Open Play (alle spielen mit) und Training. Die ersten zwei Termine sind kostenlos – also kommt vorbei und macht mit!

Last month‘s trip to Florida was probably one of my most incredible and memorable experiences in pickleball! 🤩 Thank you, Kelly Dawson, for your company and for being such a great organizer! 🙏 Not only did we attend a camp for 2 days with Scott Golden and other great trainers, but we played at the Fort (luxurious venue!), got trained and met amazing referees and even got to referee at the PPA in Cape Coral, surrounded by superstars. I was honestly starstruck, but managed to keep my composure as a referee. 😄 Another special thank you to our lovely hosts, Virginie Hough and Jörg. 🙏🙏

- 2. Deutsche Pickleball Meisterschaft 2025 in Leverkusen, organized by Deutscher Pickleball Verband e. V. Thank you, Catie Leta, for the nice photos.
- 2. Düsseldorf Open, from the Youth Open. FIRST-EVER junior division in a german tournament! Congratulations, Dieter Mundschenk and Fabio Mancarella for the wonderful initiative and for the warm and familiar atmosphere.
- 4. Cologne Open, by Uli Jordan, a full house in a great venue!

Are you passionate about pickleball, detail-oriented, and dependable? Join the Level 1 Pickleball Referee Course, a key step toward officiating at national and international tournaments.

This is a demanding and time-sensitive course, requiring strict adherence to deadlines and completion of multiple tasks, including:
* online and on-court sessions,
* meetings and scenario interpretations,
* written essays and reports… all in English.

Requirements:
* Thorough understanding of USA Pickleball Rules and principles of fair play;
* Strong focus and communication skills;
* Reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines;
* Advanced English (B2 equivalent or above).

⚠ This program is rigorous and is intended solely for highly motivated candidates.

„On Saturday 22 November 2025 we, Pickleball Tongeren-Borgloon, will organize a charity event for the hottest week. This is an annual event organized with the help of Studio Brussels. This year's theme is 'Flame along for people who are invisibly ill'. All income from that day will therefore go there in full.“

I want to publicly congratulate the DPV (Deutsche Pickleball Verband), Kai Auhagen, and Christian Mauritz from the Racket Arena Rhein-Erft in Kerpen for an absolutely amazing initiative!
This past weekend, they organized the first Youth Training Camp to build the Junior National Team in Germany! Yannick Zeidler was the main coach and led this well-organized event with support from Stephan Schwienheer. The kids even got free pizza! 🙂
The level of play surprised every single one of us! The kids learned and applied new techniques and strategies while having fun throughout the two days. My girls were surrounded by 13 very talented boys!
It’s wonderful to see pickleball growing among such young players — weiter so, DPV! 👏

What an event! What a venue! What an incredible level of competition!
It was truly an honour for the EPF referees to take part in EPC 2025. We want to commend every single one of them for enduring long shifts under the blazing sun, managing the intensity of high-stakes matches, and under the scrutiny of cameras. They are heroes. 👏👏

We were 36 in total, including our special guest Tom Tadler, Leader of Officiating at USAP - an absolute privilege to have him and his wife with us.

Referees were consistently praised by players, coaches, commentators, and organisers. Combined with the strong camaraderie within our team, this recognition gave us the motivation to keep performing at our best every day. Beyond simply participating, we were proud to reach several important milestones:

We showcased the value of referees - not just in ensuring fairness, but also player safety and keeping the tournament running smoothly and on time.

We refereed EVERY SINGLE MATCH—something that has never been done before in the history of European pickleball!

And now, for our final goal—we need your help:
Please spread the word and request a referee at your next tournament! 😉 We have 54 EPF referees across 14 European countries, and we’re ready to travel.

The RTA event in Top Tennis, Stuttgart was last weekend. Finally some nice photos to show. 😉
Stefan Entbrouxk, Jörn Lahrs and I were refereeing the event. The level of play was once again very impressive!
Several of our No Mercy players joined the Amateur division and some even dared playing in the Pro Division!! Happy to watch you out there and proud of your achievements, as usual! Šári Kudela, Amit singh, Pradipto Bhowmick,
Swapan Chhabra, Julian Dihn, Dawn and JL, and Kika. Beautiful outdoor play in the hot sun. 😊
