This car run in the German Super Touring Car Championship (STW) 1998 by Christian Menzel & Prinz Leopold von Bayern in the famous "Jägermeister" Design by the BMW Team ISERT

Steve Richards had nice gentleman fights with Uwe Alzen. Uwe Alzen run his '98 "Paulaner" STW Opel Vectra that he run originaly back in the day.

What a weekend! 🏁

It was a huge pleasure to host the Super Touring Revival at the 2026 Belmot Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring – bringing these incredibly rare and iconic 1990s touring cars back together once again.

After a successful launch in 2025, we stepped things up this year with 18 original works Super Touring cars from across the world – including Germany, England, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Austria and even New Zealand. 🌍

From German, British, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese championships, the grid featured some of the most successful touring cars of their era – cars driven by legendary racing drivers and even former F1 stars.

A special highlight: Uwe Alzen in his original 1998 factory Opel Vectra and five-time Bathurst winner Steve Richards behind the wheel of the former BMW Team Isert E36. 🔥

The Super Touring Revival is about more than historic racing cars – it’s about bringing back one of the most spectacular eras in touring car racing.

And we're only getting started…

2027 will be even bigger!

Our goal: 25+ original works cars on the grid across two fantastic events in Germany and England.
