Cologne-based Jusuf Owega recorded the best result of a rookie at Oschersleben. The 19-year-old qualified tenth on Saturday in the Phoenix Racing GmbH-Audi R8 LMS and finished in the same position together with partner Patric Niederhauser. „For Jusuf, it was his first ever race weekend in the ADAC GT Masters,“ said team boss Ernst Moser. „For that, he did remarkably well and delivered a foretaste of what we can expect from him this season.“

Der Kölner Jusuf Owega fuhr in Oschersleben das beste Resultat eines -Neulings ein. Der 19-Jährige qualifizierte sich am Samstag im Phoenix Racing GmbH-Audi R8 LMS auf Platz zehn und kam zusammen mit Partner Patric Niederhauser auf derselben Position ins Ziel. „Für Jusuf war es das erste Rennwochenende überhaupt im ADAC GT Masters“, so Teamchef Ernst Moser. „Dafür hat er sich beachtlich geschlagen und einen Vorgeschmack geliefert, was wir in dieser Saison von ihm erwarten können.“
