Arab Union Of Photographers e.V. Interkultureller Verein The association was established in 2004 and exhibits the works of German, Arab and European photographers from different countries.

The association supports the networking of artists in the world. We believe that photography advances the dialogue about current and common issues between different cultures, bypassing language barriers. Art is an international language which facilitates intercultural understanding. It creates dialogue and discussion, leading to a greater insight into how different cultures think and feel. This in

sight leads to a greater understanding, which we feel is essential in the current climate. The photographers cover a wide variety of issues, including nature, society, woman, culture, sports and architecture. Each exhibition has a specific theme, closely following current affairs. The associations also hosts a variety of competitions and awards ceremonies, reaching out to several different cultures and facilitating positive discussions on all the issues covered in their exhibitions.
