🇩🇪 Zweimal rund um die Uhr in Florida
Premiere für Niemas Racecars eSports: Das junge Team nahm zum ersten Mal an der Herausforderung eines 24-Stunden-Rennens teil. NResports nutzte die Steilkurven des Daytona International Speedway als heißen Test für die virtuellen 24 Stunden von Le Mans 2021. Fast 3100 Teams mit rund 13000 Fahrern aus aller Welt hatten für den Langstreckenklassiker genannt. Eingesetzt wurde ein Dallara P217 in der LMP2, der schnellsten Klasse, die in diesem Rennen am Start war. Am Ende belegte das Team einen sehr guten 8. Platz in Split 24 der LMP2-Klasse. Lukas Hofmann, Stefan Kresin, Stefan Waschow, Michael Niemas und Lennard Rau teilten sich das Cockpit und legten eine Gesamtstrecke von 5077,71 Kilometern zurück. Dabei war in der Nacht über mehrere Stunden ein Podiumsplatz greifbar und es konnten einige Führungskilometern abgespult werden. Das Team ging hoch zufrieden aus diesem 24h-Test. Wertvolle Daten und Erfahrung konnten für das Megaevent 24h Le Mans 2021 gesammelt werden, bei dem bis zu 3500 Teams erwartet werden.

🇬🇧 Twice around the clock in Florida - Premiere for Niemas Racecars eSports: The young team took part in the challenge of a 24-hour race for the first time. NResports used the banks of the Daytona International Speedway as a hot test for the virtual 24 hours of Le Mans 2021. Almost 3,100 teams with around 13,000 drivers from all over the world had entered for the long-distance classic. A Dallara P217 was used in the LMP2, the fastest raceclass. In the end, the team took a very good 8th place in Split 24 in the LMP2 class. Lukas Hofmann, Stefan Kresin, Stefan Waschow, Michael Niemas and Lennard Rau shared the cockpit and covered a total distance of 5077.71 kilometers. During the night, a podium place was within reach for several hours and the car was many kilometers in leading position. The team left this 24h test very satisfied. Valuable data and experience could be gathered for the mega event 24h Le Mans 2021, at which up to 3500 teams are expected.

It's the beginning of a new era. With the start into the first Season-Race today, the RCCO E-Sport Series changes from Gran Turismo Sport (PS4) to the RFactor2 simulation (PC). The car used, is the specially for RCCO developed eX ZERO. The car, that also will be driven at the RCCOWorldeX.

🏆Top results last week at the iRacing European Sprint Series for Niemas Racecars eSports👌 The whole team had great results in different splits! Lennard & Michael were able to reach podiums at the top split and Lennard also won twice🤩🤩🤩
