One of my favorite Instagram trends lately, because honestly, this is what social media should be about.
We spend so much time comparing ourselves to each other, forgetting that we never really know what’s happening behind someone else’s picture.
This was a scary and very vulnerable post to share, but it’s exactly what I want this account to be about now.
Because yes, I’m happily married, I love my daughter, I love the life I’ve built and I’m proud of my business.
But not every day is rainbows and butterflies.
And navigating postpartum while building a business has been f-ing hard.
So if you needed the reminder: you’re probably doing better than you think you are.

Narcissistic abuse was one of the biggest chapters of my life. It shaped me, broke me, and eventually built me back up stronger.
Now I’m a mom. And that part of me is louder than ever.
But I’m still a woman navigating a world that wasn’t built for us — trying to raise a daughter who won’t fall into the same traps I did. Who knows her worth before someone tries to take it from her.
This post is for her. And for every woman who needed to hear this too. 🤍

You don’t need him to get closure. I know it’s hard, I know you want to move on but feel like there are things left unsaid, things you’re still not at peace with, things you think he should know and you need to know. And you let time pass and leave your life on hold hoping for that closure that it may never happen the way you think it needs to happen. Sometimes closure is just this, you know you did your best to save that relationship, to make it work, you tried so hard you ended up feeling empty, no more strength to fight. If you’re still holding on to wanting that closure from him, know that you can free yourself from it, your path to inner peace and happiness depends on no one else but you. And if you need help; you know where to find me.

Remember what does being a Narcissist mean? EVERYTHING is from a perspective where they’re at the center. If your partner accuses you of cheating, lying, hiding things from them, 10/10 times this is something they’re doing themselves and therefore believe you’re doing it too. Look back at the relationship and pay close attention to things they’ve accused of being and doing and then look close at them and their actions. Has this happened to you? I had someone ask me this question recently and that was my answer. I know it sounds cliche or just like a beautiful Instagram quote, but honestly… simply put… that’s it. It’s all you have to do! Think of all the times he gaslighted you, lied to you, made you feel less about yourself, question yourself. Think of the endless times he made you feel like you’d never be good enough. Remember how that felt? You told yourself the next day, “Maybe I’m overreacting, it wasn’t so bad,” and kept trying to please him in every possible way.

Now, really think about this: if you truly loved yourself, would you allow that behavior to continue? Would you keep lying to yourself to protect his image? Or would you say, “You know what? I am worthy of better and more, and I know I can find it.” So yeah, it is that simple, really. But simple doesn’t mean easy! It also doesn’t mean it will happen overnight. Trust me, the more you get to know yourself, reconnect with yourself, and work on your healing, the less you’ll care about the other person and the more you’ll focus on you.

That’s why I created the Inner Journey, a healing journal with science-based exercises to help you rediscover the girl you were before you met him, but now stronger, wiser, and in love with yourself.

“If the relationship was so bad why are you so sad it’s over?” “Girl he was a A**hole what are you so upset about?” Ever had these things said to you? Do you say them to yourself? Then stop, and stop whoever Tamara you feel bad for grieving. You’re allowed to grieve actually, you SHOULD grieve, it’s all part of the journey. And it doesn’t matter how much of a narcissist he was or how bad he treated you.
