After more than 40 years of breeding Lipizzan horses, I have made the bittersweet decision to retire from my breeding program.
Since 1984, my goal has always been to produce quality Lipizzans with sound minds, correct conformation, and the temperament and trainability for which the breed is renowned. Every horse has been raised in a herd environment, given regular handling, and developed with careful attention to both physical and mental well-being.
As I begin this next chapter, I will be offering six young, healthy horses to carefully selected homes. Ages range from a few months old to seven years old, providing opportunities for a variety of goals and experience levels.
This is not a dispersal driven by urgency, nor is it a sale of horses that would not otherwise be retained. These are quality individuals from the heart of my program, and they will be offered with the same care and consideration that has guided my breeding decisions for decades.
My placement process will remain unchanged. Prospective buyers should expect thoughtful discussions regarding their experience, goals, expectations, intended use, and the temperament best suited to their needs. My priority has always been creating successful, long-term partnerships between horse and owner, and that commitment remains firmly in place.
For those who have followed, supported, and believed in my breeding program over the years, thank you. It has been an honour to contribute to the preservation and promotion of this remarkable breed in Canada and throughout North America.
