HC Dunărea Brăila anuntă un nou transfer realizat. Ruth João (23 de ani), de origine angoleză, a semnat contract pe două sezoane.

”Sunt foarte fericită pentru oportunitatea de a mă alătura echipei Dunărea Brăila sezonul viitor. După Liga Campionilor în Kastamonu și Liga Butagaz Energie cu Paris 92, sunt entuziasmată să descopăr campionatul romanesc și să mă reîntâlnesc cu fostul meu antrenor Morten Soubak. Clubul a adus laolaltă o echipă foarte puternică pentru sezonul ce urmează și abia aștept să fac parte din ea și să cunosc atât membrii clubului, cât și suporterii” a declarat Ruth.

”Ne pregătim intens pentru următorul sezon competițional. Timpul trece repede și ne dorim să formăm o echipă mult mai puternică. Ruth are 1,85 m și cu siguranță va fi decisivă în atac și în special în apărare, iar calitățile acesteia vor face ca jocul echipei noastre să fie cât mai creativ” a declarat vicepreședintele HC Dunărea Brăila, Marian Jinca.

Conform regulamentul Federației Române de Handbal, jucătoarea va activa în cadrul clubului nostru din vară. Îi urăm bun venit încă de pe acum și succes în continuare!

Time to come back onto the handball field after a long road to recovery from an achilles injury, we are very happy to announce that Norwegian left wing Thea Øby-Olsen has signed a 1,5 year contract with German Bundesliga site HSG Bad Wildungen Vipers

Vipers mit personellen Veränderungen – Neubesetzung im Rückraum und auf Linksaußen

Der HSG Bad Wildungen Vipers sind im Dezember für die laufende Saison 2021/22 noch zwei wichtige Transfers gelungen. Da Anna-Maria Spielvogel (beruflich) und Leonie Patorra (privat) den Vipers ab sofort nicht mehr zur Verfügung stehen werden, mussten die Verantwortlichen schnell handeln und sind zeitnah auf beiden Positionen fündig geworden.
Mit Thea Øby Olsen konnten die Verantwortlichen eine starke Linksaußen verpflichten, die den Vipers ab Januar zur Verfügung stehen und einen Vertrag bis zur Spielzeit 2023/24 erhalten hat.
Thea hat mit sechs Jahren das Handballspielen in ihrer norwegischen Heimat erlernt. Seit ihrem 16. Lebensjahr hat sie ausschließlich in der ersten und zweiten Liga in Norwegen gespielt, ehe sie von dort nach Dänemark gewechselt ist.
Die 25-jährige Olsen spielt momentan in dem dänischen Club Fredrikstad, wo sie zuletzt hart für ihr Comeback trainiert hat. Die gebürtige Norwegerin hat sich Ende letzten Jahres an der Achillessehne verletzt und musste sich einer Operation unterziehen. Sie ist nun aber wieder vollständig regeneriert und bereit für ihre neue Herausforderung in Deutschland.
Da Bad Wildungen idealerweise gleichzeitig auch eine renommierte Kurstadt ist, passt Thea nicht nur handballerisch perfekt zu den Vipers. Beruflich hat sie eine Ausbildung zur Krankenschwester absolviert und wir auch in diesem Bereich in Zukunft tätig sein. Somit kann auch sie, wie viele andere Spielerinnen, ihren Beruf optimal mit dem Leistungssport verbinden.

„Ich freue mich sehr, ab Januar Teil des Teams zu sein. Ich hatte ein sehr gutes Gefühl nach dem Probetraining in Bad Wildungen. Das Team und die Umgebung haben mich sehr angesprochen. Ich werde alles geben, um mit dem Team gemeinsam die gesetzten Ziele zu erreichen und möchte mich auch persönlich hier weiterentwickeln“, kommentiert Thea ihre neue Herausforderung.

We received the tragic news of the untimely passing of our former colleague Søren Jeppesen. Søren worked with us during the first three years of our agency business, but had been a companion and friend since his days as a coach in Germany.
